Thanks for the info, Reducto.. Um, but being new to Spies and all.. what is the satchel? Is that the Bowler - the one without the mirror/secret compartment thingy on top? Do u find the regualar Spy large?? I'm only 5' 3", and don't want anything to overwhelm me, lol.

I borrowed these pics from elxuxury.com... they give a rough idea of the sizes. The larger one is the actual Fendi Spy, and the smaller one is the Fendi Spy Satchel.

If you count 200-300 dollars off discount, you can get it at Saks.com (with 10% discount code) or costco.com. But you definitely cannot get a heavily discounted authentic fendi spy anywhere online.

Dig, bluefly and costco only have the bag in limited supplies. So they will frequently sell out. I recommend checking daily. Otherwise, your only choice is to pony up the $$$.

Well I haven't actually received mine yet, so I don't know about carrying it comfortably and such yet But the dimensions of the normal spy are approx. 10"H X 16"L X 5"W (according to saks.com). The exact measurements seem to vary on the different websites and for each different spy, so if someone with an actual spy can help me out.. Otherwise I'll measure my bag when it comes either tomorrow or monday.

Please post pics and if you could, one with you holding it or if you're not comfy with that, if you could take a pic of the bag next to say a tissue box so I can get a feel for the relative size. That's how I took pics of my dogs when they were puppies - next to the Kleenex box, and next to the tv remote control, for size references, lol! So cute when I look back on how tiny they were .

May I ask, did u have to wait long for yours, like did u have to pre-order it or was it there already in stock?

thanks! I really love that bag! I bought the white but then returned it. It is the most beautiful bag ever but really not smart to carry.

I was blessed on this honey spy...the texture is perfect and all over!

I want to pick up a color next. If I see a nice textured green on petrol on ebay I want it....

well I called my SA ...and she is kinda loopy. She was reading off all the expensive spies and I told her I don't care.

She said this one might be leather but there is no price. mentioned something about a red, kelly green and marroon maybe. Don't hold me to that.

I bet we know by the end of April.

I want to have a second opinion before bidding.
Like the seller has pretty good feedback and everybody seems to love their bags, then again these people might be happy owning a fake.
on the other hand she is saying 100 percent authentic or your money back..
what do you guys think
