I wish Natalie the best of luck. I hope that the world realizes that fashion can come in all sizes.

This is good news however I don't see it taking off because it's clear that fashion does not want petite people:(

I think Natalie wants to use petite models to work model petite clothes. The models in her agency might get department/mall shows and fit work. I *DO* wish that more designers would make petite sizes so petite models *CAN* get work.

I doubt this will even be as 'successful' as plus sized modeling but good luck to her! :flower:

I think the fact that petites can't be as successful as plus-sized modeling is very, very sad. I don't understand why the industry just can't "get" that. I guess the best these girls can hope for is fit modeling, if they want to do the whole "fashion" thing. If only petites were willing to be louder about their needs. It certainly worked for pluses.

Petites are often used in editorials. They look so adorable & pretty, but I guess... it sucks, because they don't command well enough on the runway. I'm petite, and I'd love to model, but I'm a bit too short.

That's only because we *THINK* that shorter girls don't "command well" Perception can change, and let's hope Natalie will be a leader in this.
