Givenchy F/W 2026.27 Paris

She said: "fine! you want some glamour and sensuality? here it is!" and it ended up being a love child of Bottega/Loewe that no one wants. Who is this for? They need help fast.

The set is beautiful... Happy to see CDD, but they should hire her as a stylist and not to be on front row.

Glad they can finally afford a set. And she's back to form, everything back to her usual laser precision. Hope the coats and outwerwear get carried on to the mens section.

Also very interesting, the few risque looks. Something she didn't do too much in Mcqueen.

Give us back Clare Waight Keller.
That said, I have to admit this is the best of the three collections presented so far: there’s finally a more couture-like spirit coming through. It would probably benefit from stronger styling, since her point of view still feels rather thin and not fully developed.
And those headpieces are honestly quite terrible.
Let’s hope for the best.

I keep forgetting Givenchy is LVMH not Kering LMAO.

Her tenure is just Claire Wright Keller 2.0... I hate the pillow headdress, and why is she giving us Chanel pompom bags like lazy Anderson? Also this is insanely Louise's BV? Could she just give us some beautiful Audrey Hepburn dresses and put Lily Collins in them later?

But she does cut a good suit for women. Look 1 is really good.

So according to tfsers this is what women want to wear right? they want to look like if they came out from a Vermeer painting but with no taste, less chic and wearing very ugly clothes.

Gotcha.

The head wrap is quite chic, but it should’ve been on every model with a striking make up look to match for consistency. The casting is weak, and she definitely needs a better stylist.

She really shouldn't be a front-facing creative director. Her garments are beautifully constructed and the tailored separates are gorgeous, but Givenchy really needs a decent showman to deliver the full punch.
This^ she's just not one to lead, the tailoring is always correct (it was the best element of her McQueen too), but whenever she tries being playful the results are either unconvincing or downright hapless - between those scrunched pillowcases some of the models wore on their heads, the mostly bare faces, the hand covers (?!) and all the white, red & black the collection is giving off an unfortunate Handmaid's Tale: Still Not Free vibe. Also, who styled this, bcs they need to stop.
