This^ she's just not one to lead, the tailoring is always correct (it was the best element of her McQueen too), but whenever she tries being playful the results are either unconvincing or downright hapless - between those scrunched pillowcases some of the models wore on their heads, the mostly bare faces, the hand covers (?!) and all the white, red & black the collection is giving off an unfortunate Handmaid's Tale: Still Not Free vibe. Also, who styled this, bcs they need to stop. She really shouldn't be a front-facing creative director. Her garments are beautifully constructed and the tailored separates are gorgeous, but Givenchy really needs a decent showman to deliver the full punch.
