Amazing how once she ditches the prince, Blair ceases to look like a wannabe Mrs. Havisham. I adore that red gown with the cap sleeves! Any IDs on it? The red coat is nice too.

That said, I my expectations are low that I will continued to be wowed by post-Princess Blair fashion.

I'm starting to think that maybe the styling has become so bad because Eric doesn't have the same access to all the great designers and pieces anymore. I mean everybody knows that the show's credibility is pretty much dead now. But it's true that since fashion is one of the only reason some people still watch the show they should make an effort.

No, he's still using the same designers: lots of Marc Jacobs, Louis Vuitton, Marchesa and Oscar de la Renta. The only difference is that he is choosing the bad pieces rather the "OMG that dress makes the scene!"

Plus, he's gotten extremely repetitious and he has been limiting items rather than expanding character's wardrobes. (For example, Chuck. He used to be king of layering, whether colour or pattern or both. Now, Chuck is just put navy blue window pane suit with a paisley tie every episode.. Blair and Serena used to wear everything from jeans to button downs to sundresses that ranged from modest to extremely sexy for both girls. Now, Blair dresses like a secretary and Serena looks like a hooker.)

lol, alas you are right...although I would love to see Dior on the show (...and maybe have been daydreaming about that particular dress lately ) It is definitely last season Oscar.

Louis basically tells Blair that their marriage is a sham, a contract, so she escapes with Dan and they go to the airport so she can fly to the Dominican Republic and get a divorce (a la Liz Taylor) without alerting the Grimaldis.

I doubt the Casiraghis watch Gossip Girl, but seriously, I hope they don't.
