Louis basically tells Blair that their marriage is a sham, a contract, so she escapes with Dan and they go to the airport so she can fly to the Dominican Republic and get a divorce (a la Liz Taylor) without alerting the Grimaldis.

I doubt the Casiraghis watch Gossip Girl, but seriously, I hope they don't.

Same here. I cringed when Blair made that comment about how Charlene tried to escape but couldn't and she's an Olympian. (On the other hand, Albert and Charlene are suing the people who spread that information...so I'd be thrilled if they slammed Stephanie Savage with a lawsuit.)

^ OMG I totally missed that line. I'd rather they go after that Joshua Safran guy. I blame him for what happened to Chair.

Now that Chuck is finished Josh Schwartz should take over and inject some OC Season 1-ish flavour into GG.

Safran isn't beholden to the Chuckistans though, even if he is a Chuck apologist. He's pro-Dair and cares about other aspects of the show besides Chuck Bass It's Stephanie Savage who basically uses every interview to justify why everything and everyone on the show should be sacrificed at the Chuck Bass alter. (I haven't forgiven or forgotten her "kissing bandit" comment.)

I just ate my own vomit by looking at those pictures of Blair and Dan. Her outfit looks so cheap, and WTF is that 2$ looking tiara from Kmart ?? I can't

I can't help feeling that it is...as everything on GG seems to be a ploy these days. We'll see though.

I haven't watched Gossip Girl in full in seasons lol, but I WILL be watching that episode (FINNALLY!)

I can't help feeling that it is...as everything on GG seems to be a ploy these days. We'll see though.

I think it is...I mean, what would the story line be- Blair dresses up in a ball gown (in the middle of the day) with her tiara on (in NY, for some reason), poses with school girls on the steps of the Met and kisses Dan, who (as usual) is dressed like he just washed the car...?? Makes no sense...

Bart150 has been hinting on twitter for a long while that Dair is actually happening the second half of the season, so I don't think it is a dream sequence. Also, someone ID-ed Dan's shirt as being the same one he wore with Blair to the NYU party where he tosses her headband down the stairs. And, we KNOW how Eric loves clothing continuity/callbacks....so I think the odds are in our favor that it is not a dream sequence if he would specifically pull that plaid shirt. (Also, Dan's coat is the same one he wore when he first kissed Blair back in season 4.)

(And you guys would know that if you paid attention to ALL the fashion on the show.)

I hope you're right wild roses. So, I'm really anxious and interested to see how this scene plays out. Honestly, I've never minded Dan's dressed down look. I feel like it's just him. I mean, he's not like Nate or Chuck, and his Brooklyn style reflects how "down-to-earth" he is...most of the time...alot of the time...or more often than not.

Good outfit for Chuck (and Monkey always looks stylish!) B) Spread collar shirt, nice tie with a medium Windsor knot, cuffs on the slacks that aren't 10" too long for once, a camel hair car coat with ticket pocket and suppressed waist, and either cordovan or black dress loafers- all good and all very British, Old Sport...
