actually, the bag available is the new one with black enameled GGs and it is current so most Gucci boutiques should have it. here's a pic:

it's $940. they also have a hobo in the same style in a small and medium (don't know the price). as for me, it doesn't rock my world. all the better since I'm way over my handbag budget for the next 5 years.

a little OT, I was surprised to learn that this bag is the hot bag right now -- they sold out immediately and no one has it:

pic is from neiman's which is sold out too. the strap is cute but otherwise I find it blah. which shows what I know.

^Lilygirl, thanks for the posting the pics especially the one with the black enameled GGs! I'm a little disappointed, there is no *Wow* factor for me either. I liked Alejandro's bag but I didn't like Paris Hilton's...okay I'm biased, I just can't stand her in general.

Wow, I was surprised but how similiar in shape the Blondie is to the Chanel cerf and the picture by LilyGirl really highlighted it.

The only difference is of course, the enameled double Gs versus the interlinking double Cs.

I feel that the Boston shape is more unique. I like it a lot more

This one is called Boston as well. Gets the SA's really confused.

I wouldn't give up on finding the white one if you really want it. Like I said, they had it at the outlet for a short period. I wouldn't be surprised if one popped up on Yoox.

I can't find the dome shaped bag - but I can get this one. Comments? It is a large bag - but I'm uncertain about the horsebit on the front.

i don't really see that... they're two completely different things imo.... i can't really explain it, but the cerf is a TOTE...and the blondie is a BOSTON bag... two different things, imo...and i think the cerf is a little bigger, and more "square" whereas the blondie is more "rectangular," no?? i can't really see them functioning as the same thing... i can picture the cerf being used as a business bag...the blondie is more of a handbag.

^^^Just because its called a boston doesn't mean its a boston. Gucci has like 7 different bags they call bostons, only a few of them are TRUE bostons. I can see where she gets the comparison, it does look very much like the cerf, except for the handles.....it doesn't have tote handles.
