Gucci S/S 2012 Milan

I don't like how those trousers look, so saggy and ill fitting. I do like the combination of the colours and the acessories. Overall it feels very Gianne Versace meets Spring 2011.

this is the gucci I love. compared to our poor men's ss collection, this one is rich !! i love the prints and the african vibes, materials are so precious, flat shoes make girls looking at ease, it's really great

I think you mean FW07 with etno and multicultural references... not FW08 Spanish-inspired one...

Nope, I meant FW08 :p
But once again, it might be just me...I don't think the entire collection resembles Balenciaga but certain dresses and the way some of the jackets were cut.

there are some beautiful pieces but i don't like it as a whole :flower:

I am so excited that Gucci is finally back to where it was few seasons ago (dare I even say, 2007). I really enjoyed the proportions, the sequined drop waist dresses, the jackets, the prints - it all felt very refreshing and extremely hot. Also the hair and makeup was fantastic, the classic Gucci girl with a super edge. Overall, love.

I hate all the printed pieces and the ones with the fringes. The rest I love. It's very sexy and I love the low waistline on the dresses.

I like the overall collection and I especially like the 1920s/shiny-sequined/ethnic mashup. However, I am not a fan of the green and not a fan of how Frida cuts pants, I think that the slightly too long thing is deliberate, but I don't care for it.

hmmm some pieces work, some other made models body looks big,can you imgaine in normal people?

I liked her fall collection , though that was a bit garrish too, but this just looks like a sl*tty michael kors resort collection. This woman cannot cut pants , the frida pant has now morphed into a high waisted , droopy, tapered hot mess.

Yuck. Horrible collection. Like someone took all the clothes from S/S 2011 and bedazzled them to hell and back.

What can I say? I like it. Very blinged out but I feel like it is as tastefuly done as it can be. For the Gucci women this is a really great collection. And I agree with Helmut Newton, it's a great start to the week.

This is amazing! One of Fridas best collections to date! I'm completely in love with every single look!
I like it a lot. It reminds me of fashion from the early-to-mid 80s. In fact, there was a trend in circa 1984 of a 1920s-esque silhouette in evening dresses. So yeah, overall very impressive collection.

I haven't liked a Gucci collection in a long time.

Very beautiful. Love this collection and what a great start to Milan fashion week. The collection has an almost couture feel to it in its structure and detail. The jackets and pants, tops and accessories are stellar and the dresses stunning. So happy for them and so happy to see Gucci back in great form.

This. Every season they are the same. Who would waste their money when you can buy a better pair on the high street. I have always been very critical of Frida but last season grew on me whereas this is just awful. Those jackets looks like Miu Miu leftovers.

I have mixed feelings. At first I thought it wasn't as overdone and cheap-looking like it usually is, but then those dresses at the end...too much, yo.

not very convinced of this collection. the geometrical patterns doesn't really correspond to anything else in the collection and the use of gold isn't the best imo.
