Handbags : Yay or Nay?

Hey guys! I'm trying to decide between a few different bags - I'm planning to get one for school, to carry books and my laptop. Which do you like best? Also, do you think the red colored one is ok for year-round use?

Bag #1: Genius in Grey

I'm a little concerned about the durability/strength of the handle. Do you think the leather plus fastenings will be liable to break?

Bag #2: Pomegranate in Brick

I'm not sure about the color - I like it, but do you think it'd be ok for year round use?

Bag #4: Slouchy Sasha in Black

This one I'd be getting in slightly different dimensions (less width, a little more height) but similar design.

What do you think? I'd appreciate getting your thoughts! Thanks!

I need a new bag and I cant find anything perfect.
The Balenciaga City bag is one of my biggest dreams, but while I cannt afford it... I was checking ebay and found this for 20 pounds...

I'm seriously thinking about buying it. What would you advise me? Yay ou nay?

Renie - If you think the bag would hold up to the weight of your stuff, I would go with the first one, in grey.

Otherwise the bottom one in the different dimensions that you mention would be my second choice as it looks like it is quite sturdy.

gian-franco, my advice would be to hold on to your dreams - one day you'll get a real Balenciaga City and you can cherish it forever, whereas a copy could cheapen this dream immensely. Aspire to the genuine! :D

Renie - the grey one. I don't like the orangey-red one much, and it's not a bag you could use every day with every outfit because of the colour.

gian-franco - nay. Start saving up instead, you'll love it so much when you finally get it! And buy something else meantime if you desperately need a new bag..

Renie - my choice is the grey one so yay to it :)

gian-franco - sorry but nay
