It will be soo interesting to see cavalli as couture...I just can't imagine.

I wanna see Dior, Lacroix, Givenchy, Chanel, on aura tout vu, Josep Font, and jean paul gaultier, of course.

or is it because he wasn't invited that he's not on the official calendar ... ?

I would be VERY surprised they let him show something during official calendar !
and perhaps that's why he's doing a press show ...

Giorgio Armani joined the couture calendar with his Privé collection four years ago and, on Monday, Roberto Cavalli announced that a high-end collection destined for private clients would be offered in his newly opened Paris boutique.
“We already do it for clients from our studio in Milan,” said Eva Cavalli, the designer’s partner. “But now we will have the workrooms here in Paris.”

It is nice, but I don´t see any cavalli signature in it either, I could easily think it is Versace for example, I was hoping for more decadence, snake skins, flamboyance, etc...
