I found her autobiography in paperback at a garage sale back when...It was written a while ago- in the 60s maybe..It was pretty racy...She got around!! (And a couple of girlfriends too...!!)

Both her and Gene Tierney were married to Howard Lee

Her last husband was the attorney she used to divorce Howard.

The fact that she did a nude scene in the 40's, shows that she is a wild woman.

There actually was an earlier silent film done in Germany called "Ecstasy" (Her book was titled Ecstasy and Me) and it was full frontal nudity, which was totally unheard of back then!!!

There was a movie review board "code" in the 30s and 40s in Hollywood- Each film had to be reviewed much like todays PG and R ratings and so on - but much more strict! The most famous one was that even married couples had to have separate beds in their bedrooms and one partner always had to have at least one foot on the floor in the scene, or it was obviously way too dirty for people to see...!! So this was when Hedy did a German film showing her totally naked from the front!! (It was only for a second, btw- she is coming out of a lake after swimming- I've seen the movie...) But I always was sort of impressed that she came to Hollywood after this and had a very big career- Very big scandal at the time...!

I haven't seen it myself actually. There used to be a clip of it in YouTube but I guess it's been taken down I thought they looked really good.
