Ohh I do that as well.
I have a inspiration map, with folders such as streetstyle, trendspotting, celebrity style, editorials, models street style, wish lists, own clothe, random pics I save from tfs etc.
And I love making collages...
I have made a Lookbook as well, buy cutting out pictures I like from magazines...

As you can see a lookbook can be made like this.

oooh, me too! I do it for makeup and hair, house and bath as well, except mine is a real folder-eventaully ill turn it into a booklet. An another important tip that i dont know if its been mentioned is when your experiminting, look for things that suit you, your personality as well as your body type:flower:

I'm feeling like adding something to my own now ^_^

Not sure if anybody else has mentioned this yet -you can also get inspiration fromc elebrities you like? I'm not talking a bout beign a copycat, though.

I feel like starting a look book now too, but..

A) I hate tearing out pages in my glossy mags.. it breaks my heart! LOL
B) I change it up a lot.. I have quite a big wardrobe as a result. But I always go back and wear my clothing in cycles

I've resorted to just saving images of things and jewellery I like online in a huge folder. If I ever need inspiration, I'll just sift through it on my laptop :D

I basically am still searching for my own style but I'm definitely on the right track because I've been feeling more confident with myself.
How I achieved it is like this: I have huge picture folders on my computer, divided into street style, celebrity style, etc. and I basically go through tFS/lj communities and so on and save all the 'looks' that I like the most. I obviously also go through magazines and cut out any inspirational pictures and make a lookbook type of thing. In a couple of months I already had quite a collection, and I just went back, looked through all the pictures before going out shopping and had a much clearer view on what I like. :flower:

I do that too :innocent: I have a folder for celeb candids, street style, scans from magazines (the ones showing models' outfits), and most importantly a wishlist folder. I save pictures of things I like and could see myself wearing. It keeps me focussed on what I need to buy, and helps think of new outfits.

Seems like I'm not the only one who has a huge file of pictures for inspiration online, recently I collaged them in PSP and it makes it much clearer to see what my style is, also I jotted down what patterns and colours I like, style icons and the looks I like!

You just need to get out there and find clothes that you like and that suit your body. Don't be afraid to try something that you never thought that you would like.
You might just suprise yourself. Follow yourself not your friends

OMG... IT SUCH A GOOD IDEA.. GOOD GOB

When I Go To Shopping I Always Look At Magazines And Stuf And Look Thing That I Love ... And Then I Search Clothes About The Style That I Want And...thats It

i think that the most important things that you can remember when developing your own style is do what feels right to you. well that and buy timeless items and accessorise. you don't need a huge wardrobe just one that has quality items.
