Hi, I'm very pity when girls go out during summer with halter shirt or sleeveless, backless and you see the back have breakouts. What's your suggest to take care of that? Are you using a long brush on shower, or do you take madicated talc?

god i hate my spoty shoulders:sick: i cleanse my back with the same stuff i use on my face to dry out the spots!

^ Me, too. Same goes for my chest. The entire top 3rd of my body gets the same treatment all the way from cleanser, toner, and moisturizer to sunscreen!

A few year ago, my brother had this same problem. He started getting "back facials" once a month and it went away in no time. Good luck :flower:

Thank you all. I think we must to think how we take care of our back now. Are the breakouts has any effects from what we eat?

Clinique has a spray that is meant for your back as a tratment.
Don´t forget to exfoliate too and if you can´t, get a back brush or an exfoliating towel like the ones they have at the Body Shop.

Hi Adrina!

I don't generally believe that food triggers breakouts, but I do believe a healthy diet can help prevent breakouts if that makes any sense.

When I'm eating all of my fruits and vegetables (i.e. vitamins and minerals) and drinking the appropriate amount of water, my skin looks a lot better. And not just in terms of breakouts, but over-all texture and "glow". It's just like any other organ. You have to give it the nutrients it needs for optimal performance

ive noticed a few little "breakouts" here and there but nothing gross. i need to start taking better care of it!

Br. Vogue June has a page (210) "Rear view" on taking care of your back so it can loook its best in backless dresses for summer.

It mentions among other things the Backcial treatment at Bliss Spa as an option.

I use L'OREAL Pure Zone products on my face, and they work just great. I am not sure though if they have body cleansers as well, but if they do, I would definitely recommend it!!!

Cetaphil products are very good too.

i use a shower peeling and it helped alot with my back. i have no more spots on my back except for maybe 3 total tiny ones. bigger prob is that from the spots i had before all the time i've got some brownish blemishes on my back so the skin tone looks so uneven. i am afraid to wear tanktops and halter shirts in summer because of that.
do you all wear such things in summer even with the back problems or do you rather "hide" them?

guys!! I really need to know this.

I get pimples on my back...but its like just bumps and they go away and there is like...barely any so that isn't a problem. But my back feels oily alot and now when I get out of the shower my back feels really dry:doh: and my mum told me I don't need to moisturise it because im a teenager and it gets oily..so what should I do. Leave it? or something?

Acester one reason why your skin is dry after showering might be that you shower using very hot water?? The warmer the water the greater drying effect it will have on your skin...Same happends to me..but I prefere dry skin to icy icy cold showers any time of the week :D

I'm using isotrexin for my back right now, cuz I have some spots I need to get rid of. This medicine is also supposed to prevent blackheads and spots from coming back as it slightly exfoliates the skin and unblocks pores. You have to watch out tho...no sun, while using it.
ps: my back is looking better since I have started using this. :flower:

neutrogena body scrub has medicated 2% salicyclic acid as its ingredient...i used to have some back pimples, and they completely went away with the neutrogena stuff...its like $5 for an entire bottle. I still had the uneven spots though from previous years, but just use a sugar scrub/sea salt scrub/any scrub and they will disappear---youre sloughing off the old skin.
For my front, the skin there is thinner than the skin on your back, so I would not use anything harsh--use your face wash.
Hope that helps :flower:
And for those recovering from back spots, wear cute halters with big straps, then the straps fall on your back, and no one can see them

Wow...., sounds very healthy life. Yes, truly tempting sometimes, if we're talking about foods. Because I'm from Asian link so I love to eat spices, chili, and all coconut blend in food. After ate all kind a things I have to find some Japanese food to make balance.

That's why I have to follow you Curious. Sometimes I did feel of the food can make your skin breakouts if you don't care of what you eat.

Thanks for your advise.

Thank's everybody. It's really great to know how all of you take care of your skin.
