Ok so if you havent seen the tv show .. its a tv show on uk television were this guy takes someone with zero confidence and with out surgery or anything he gives them a make over and teaches them to feel good about them selves. He teaches them confidence and posture as well as other things. This makes the person seem more happier and therefore more pritier. The final test they are truely happy with themselves is they have to put a naked picture of them selves up on a huge billboard or walk down a busy street etc.

Well anyways along this line i was wondering if any tfs'ers had any tips. How to make your self body and face beautiful with out surgery. How to get confidence in your self. your composture etc. and let the beauty from with in shine out.

I so hope this makes some sense ^_^

Good skin is far more important that body shape or size. Pale or tan as long as it's even--no farmer tans, basically.

Funniest thread ever, almost as good as Magic Cream...:lol::lol::lol:

Well, I'm all for getting naked, that's for sure. I sauna a lot and clothing is not permitted at the club. When I travel, I go to local baths and find that most of the spas are clothing optional. Everyone wanders around in their happy bodies, all different shapes and sizes and colors, a wide spectrum of age and color and health. I think getting used to being naked is a good practice. It certainly motivates me to stay fit.

Also, make ever movement graceful and full of poise. It's very uplifting.

do you mean LOOK good naked or FEEL good naked...
cause it is not necessarily the same thing...

a person could feel perfectly comfortable in the buff...
and still nauseate everyone who has to look at them...

:innocent:...

^ I think looking good naked helps me feel good naked, and the sauna really makes me feel good.

But I think that even if someone doesn't necessarily "look" beautiful, there's just something about people bathing together in whatever shape they're in that I warms my heart. I think there is too much isolation in our society - a tv in every room, a computer or PDA or cell phone or or or ... communal bathing is an age old tradition in many cultures, and I think it's really valuable and worthwhile. :flower:

Some of the women in my club are in their eighties, and they are very, very beautiful. At least, I think so.

i think it is always easier to feel comfortable naked or almost naked when everyone else is too...

not so much at the office...:innocent:...
or walking down the street with a giant billboard!!!...

ok i think everyone is kind of missing the point which im sorry about because thats my fault .. its nothing to do with actually being naked ... its more feeling more confident etc. in your self through style posture etc. and the test at the end of the show is to see how confident you are by going naked

''how to look good naked'' thats the name of the tv show

the show kind of works on the principle if you feel good you look good as confidense etc. shines through and makes your beautiful and funnyily enough it works .. well the general public they ask seem to think so :flower:

I love this show. I wish Gok Wan was my friend. You would never have days where you fell blah.

snowqueen, like you said, the real beauty shines from the inside outward. so how do we go about feeling good on the inside?

one of the things we can do is to train ourselves to think positively. i think we all have this inner monologue going on. we constantly repeat certain thoughts and feelings to ourselves, thereby training/brainwashing ourselves into beliving these things, whether they are true or not. people with low self-confidence keep putting themselves down. they put themselves down when they look in the mirror, when they see airbrushed sexy people on tv and in magazines, etc. they are basically training themselves to believe that they are ugly, inferior, flawed, etc. so what a person needs to do is catch herself when she starts thinking this way, and replace these thoughts with positive ones. a person can build her own confidence UP in the same way that she broke her own confidence DOWN. as cheesy as it sounds, looking at oneself in the mirror and saying "dang, girl, you look HOT!" (out loud or in your head) can really work! then, flash a smile in affirmation of that declaration. the physical act of smiling and seeing your gorgeous self smiling will also make you feel better. thinking positive thoughts goes a lot farther than we think....

that's just one possibility...

:flower:

maybe the title of this thread should be changed...?
the current title is quite misleading.
maybe something like "Building Up Confidence"...
...or "Gorgeous from the Inside Out".
:wink::flower:

being fit, having good skin, having a proportional and symmetrical body will make you look good naked.
or we could just turn off the lights
