i love all those hybrid shoes posted. they look interesting.

Great thread! It seems that the most popular "hybrid shoe" is the open toe bootie, which is to me, still impractical but better than the disgusting espradrille/stiletto shoe!

This is the future...
If you think about it, women have so many choices,
but as far as shoes go, we are severely limited when compared
to actual garments...
So these, if done in a tasteful yet thoughtful manner, give women
even more opportunities, so have everything, but absolutely nothing to wear...
I love absolutely love the Marc Jacobs, Doo.Ri's, and the Vera Wang's, esp...
That is a GREAT shoe...

I usually hate Marc by Marc Jacobs when it comes to shoes, and these aren't really the exception...

I was about to post the lace-up Doo.Ri booties with the flap though Loved them!!

these are really all over the place. some are really ugly (espadrille stiletto) and some are really striking (vera wang flat peep-toe bootie thing).

The red ones by Anna Sui are really cute and I think the wedge-running shoe mix is so much more interesting than the usual high heel combo that is seen.
