If you could only wear ONE designer/brand for the rest of your life ...

EDIT!!!

How about so it is not one word answers you say why would you wear this brand? I would wear Lanvin because Alber Elbaz pays a lot of attentions to details in his clothing and every thing is always so beautiful...

I would wear Jil Sander because Raf Simon would deliever me same superior things every season. No radical changes, just great clothes and shoes.

I would wear chloe because it sums up my style & attitude: young, fresh, dirty/pretty, and without having a care in the world.

I would get Christopher Bailey to do me daily (excuse the lameness) with Burberry Prorsum because the pieces are so rich, textured, just beautiful. Sophisticated but fun. But then again i love Balenciaga for structure and Alexander McQueen for a darker, mysterious mood. Lots of drama. I like the darker colours they use too. It's too difficult to choose. I fall in love with particular pieces and while brands will establish/have established styles or directions, they sometimes go a bit off. (or maybe my taste changes). can my shoes be separate? Imo YSL always has the best shoes..besides of course the red flash of a Louboutin.

I cannot come up with anyone from the present designers, but my dream is to have had either Christian Dior, Hubert de Givenchy or Cristóbal Balenciaga as my personal couturiere. They made elegant and feminine, yet utilitarian clothing that newer loses its value. All of them knew how to structure a woman, to give her a body with clothes. They all knew how to make one look incredible.

It's impossible, as very few designers make only wearable clothes. I love Marni and Miu acessories, some of the clothes, but lots i wouldn't wear. I adore vivienne westwood t-shirts, jackets, knitwear and some acessories / jewellery, but would never wear any of the pants. I need to wear colours from time to time, so Cloak, Ann D, Rick Owens etc is out of the question. I think i would say Acne, as they make very wearable and simple things.

Oh wow, that's a difficult question! I'd likely wear something made by a local designer... which one, I don't know.

Chanel and a pair of classic black patent Christian Louboutin shoes.

YSL, it is sooo me, everything intergrates into my wardrobe perfectly.

hmm... tough. I change looks a lot, and lately I've felt very very comfortable with this dark, gothic, basic or embellished male lolita (if that makes sense) and i've been doing it for a while now... so, if that's the case, I think Calvin Klein would be great. Its so basic at the same time, you can layer some interesting pieces of their collections to make them work together.

which takes me to ask, can we use accesories we already own :innocent:

My favorites change every season, but some pretty good bets would be: YSL (if they went back to how it was in 2006), wherever Slimane is going to, or possibly Burberry Prorsum.

This is impossible for me also, I would have to go with Marc Jacobs though. I love his quirkiness mixed with cool, that is my style. April 77 for my jeans, most definitely!

Oh dear, I think I'd be torn now that i think about it. Bottega Veneta is so clean yet chic whereas Lanvin would be very polished and special, espeically for day to day.
