Lovin hoods-they add a 'edge' to almost anything. I like to wear a black sheer knit hooded sweater under a pinstripe trouser suit for work- it stops me feeling too smart.

Gonna second that one. Not too much into the whole "skinny"/tight hood, but bigger hoods are nice. Ok, maybe not star-wars-sized hoods but close

I third that. Only for me the bigger the better.

for me, it's not just any hoods but big, big hoods like the drkshdw ones that are my favorite.

I'm with you on this...

these little hoods don't really do it for me...
they're too tight and snug...
they remind me of some sort of winter sports outfit..
can't think of exactly what it is..

or maybe it reminds me of a scuba outfit?
or a spy outfit from an old movie?

i love big drapey hoods that just conceal and almost completely encapsulate your face...
not grim reaper style but one whose folds rest on the shoulders..
