Still confused as to the appeal of Selena and why she gets the covers of so many fashion mags.

I find it odd as well. She is so young—too young. I find it hard to believe that the majority of women standing in shopping aisles would be compelled to purchase a magazine about someone so far removed from their own lives, considering Instyle's content is usually geared towards more adult women.

Selena Gomez never comes up on the lists of best-selling celebrity covers so I'm baffled at why she continues to score them. To me she is straight Disney. There is nothing about her that translates as a mature adult woman in print.

Thanks to her L'Oreal ads, I've come to expect super-groomed hair from Cheryl at all times, so for me, it looks like she met with a malfunctioning hairdryer, and then decided to dress in a basket.
