The cover for UK InStyle is lovely? Love her pose and the Gucci piece. I'm just bothered with the grey text. It's becoming duller every time. New colors won't hurt right?

It's not grey... I have said before, it's metallic silver. It just photographs/scans as grey.

It's sort of a signature of the magazine. They do alter and use other colours, but do always revert back to the silver when the outfit cover is a bit brighter.

InStyle used to do such lovely covers, now everything is against a white background. I miss the covers they used to do in the 1990s, with stars photographed in various positions against lush green or beachy backgrounds. I suppose it makes airbrushing easier, but I hate the studio artificialness.

I've also noticed their events coverage has diminished over the years. I have an issue from 1998, and everything from a ball in Monaco to charity events in NYC to red carpet premieres are covered. Now, it's all basically red carpet.

I do still buy issues from time to time though because I like their interviews and their fashion and style how-tos.

I dont see any difference between grey and that silver.... that silver is not as much metallic to be considered as real looking silver...
