I ended up coming home with a copy today. I don't know about anyone else from the UK, but I tend to get those WHSmiths vouchers which come out after you've paid for an item, which enables you to get £5 off when you spend £15? I was buying American Vogue and Bazaar already, so thought I would get InStyle (and another copy of UK Bazaar) - making them practically free.

Although this particular issue doesn't look as though it contains anything exciting.. I've found it interesting to see how the InStyle team handle their issues. I do like how the masthead page looks. They need to work on distinguishing each section of the magazine, though. The titles are very stark and most just look like promotional pages. I guess it's worth the clippings and the La Vie Est Belle sample (which I cannot get enough of, after having the card standing around the room for weeks on end).

Well, while the cover is kinda mediocre, the shoot is marvelous, so I wouldn't mind if it'd be reprinted by my local version of InStyle

She's just beautiful, and knows how to be shot. Always a good thing. I wish the inside contents page head shot had ended up as the cover.

I like everything about this, the cover J-Law, the ed...everything is simple, beautiful, clean..Love the red and white colors for the cover, suitable for December... One of the best InStyle Us covers this year to me

I wouldn't be surprised if the British edition (or any other edition) reprinted Jennifer's shoot for their January issue. Me, I would use the exact same cover shot but with an ice blue masthead (light blue being more suited to a new year issue, non?). The dark masthead is perfect for December and each element makes for a wonderful cover. I think US InStyle have nailed it this month - love it.
