Girls, I am so excited and need to share the news!
So I have been on the lookout for a Speedy 30 in Damier Azur for.. for ever!
I tried Catty, that order got destroyed. I tried Jacky but he has a password now and didnt really respond frequently.
I tried Fang, but she was a bit too pricey and I wasnt sure about it.

So now.. I bought an authentic! I ordered it online on the LV website and I cant wait! It should arrive in about 6 days. I'm not sure if I should post pictures as you all know what it looks like and its not from one of our sellers. But if anyone is interested let me know!

I have also ordered a Papyrus Work RH from the boys.. has anyone gotten a Papyrus yet?
I am so curious to know what the leather is like!

Iridescent*, sambatsas And to who ever else this concerns, I haven't gotten the password either. I think something is wrong with Jacky, he might have gotten into similar trouble as Catty. Fingers crossed to me being wrong!

If you don't mind sharing a bit more info was your bag spot on with the authentic? Same awesome soft pebbly leather? How was the hardware? and lining?

Yes, the leather and the hardware were spot on to a couple of authentics I checked out at Holt Renfrew. The clip on the shoulder strap and the metal stud that allows you to change the length of the shoulder strap were slightly lighter weight than the original, and my clip has a little bit of varnish on it for some reason. It was really something you'd have to compare them side by side for a long time to see. I didn't look at the lining, so I can't weigh in on that. I think there is some slight difference in the "made in china" font on Jacky's tags vs. the authentic - I think this is the main way that people authenticate them nowadays. You can check "the other forum" if you would like to research this more.

I think another person (Bagalicious?) might have reviewed this bag several threads in the past and found that at one point Jacky's handles on the Rocco were slightly longer than the authentic. This is my fuzzy memory speaking, so someone else can feel free to correct me. If there was a difference, I think the consensus was that it was very minor and not noticeable. I really love the bag, and I was blown away by how much the leather and the hardware resemble the real thing. Carry it with confidence!

Does anyone know if there is a pic out there of a petite woman carrying a Balenciaga day bag? I'm 5' feet even and I'm worried it will overwhelm me. I only own cities, firsts, and twiggies but I want a new style in Blue Lavande.

Speaking of customs i have 3 cities, money wallet, 3 cuff bracelets coming from the boys to the US. Do you guys think itll be ok? Im worried because this is the largest order ive had shipped to me thus far.

I know some girls get quite a few bags from the boys at a time, do they pass through customs ok? Especially in the US east coast.

princessbird - congrats on your auth LV damier. i exchanged my LV speedy b 30 from fang for a LV speedy damier 35. i compared it to my auth speedy damier 30 and it is so spot on. the canvas color, handles and hardware look amazing. just unbelievable. very happy!

RE: J's rocco - i have his original coco version (no strap) bought in '09 and new rocco version (with strap) bought in '10. IMO the original version is so much better. the thick leather and pebbling, etc. the newer version has thinner leather and not as much pebbling. both handles are bit too long vs. auth but i actually like it that way as you can squeeze it over your shoulder if wearing a thin shirt

orchidian - IMO the day would work for you, as it's slouchy and not structured. one of my close friends who is 4'11 uses her day all the time and it looks very proportional, boho cool on her

I placed a large order before with the boys and they shipped to me in separate packages each one with their won shipping label. Check with them I'm sure they did the same.

I believe J has more trouble than we all realize! He usually always contacts me within 1-2 days, its been 3 days now. And I have sent him 2 e-mails.
Whoever gets the Password first should give it out to some of us.

I have the quilted falabella shoulder (the one with the flap) from J, It's a really great bag but heavy! I've used it quite a few times already.
