Wow! I just got a black Midday from T&D--the leather is soft, moderately distressed, thick, and really saturated (no white veins to speak of). Just.....wow!

has anyone ordered from Helen before? I'm thinking of getting one of her bag, since I didn't receive any replies from J..TIA

Helen - the one where you need a p/w to see the pics right?

I just found out about her, she seems to have J's stuff and more. Kinda broke at the mo but when I get paid I might buy something just to check it out. J hasnt replied to me either and I buy from him every odd month...

Need to start finding other alternatives!

Russler1: If ShopLush is the same company as Lushbags from back in the day I do have a seafoam First from them that I still carry today. Lovely leather quality and no mishaps to this day (hardware falling off,etc.).
But I am so not an expert on how close it is to the real thing in terms of hardware placement,etc. Sorry.But like I said I don't even know if it is the same company....

I received my black rose gold city from the guys and it's flawless so happy! However my snake print small bayswater from Jacky was just downright disappointing.. so my hunt for a non-balenciaga neutral bag continues. perhaps because I just ordered from him, he has replied my emails promptly and did give the password to his site. I don't think he is experiencing any trouble.

Wrt Helen, I'm thinking of ordering from her too because she has bags that Jacky no longer makes. Maybe asking for more pictures of the bag would be a safety measure. You know, just to make sure she has the right bag and didn't just steal pics of other sellers.

I think I will try to order from Helen, but the next question is...which color of the mini alexa should I get? Bright cabbage, watermelon, or oak?

LovelyE:Helen has the lovely gunmetal sparkle tweed oversized alexa! I love the bag and would get it had I not just gotten T&D's black grgh. I missed out when Jacky had it. But if you're looking for a mini, I think cabbage is real unique

Received my "cyprus" renamed Vert Thym from T&D today. Not really sure what colour it is but the green is quite nice. My photos:

This bag is much better in many ways compared to my galet, bought 13 months ago:
1. The leather smells very nice like a new car; galet had an awful smell which gave me a headache.
2. The leather is smooth and soft. No need for any treatment to get ride of shininess.
3. The bale is improved, more like the authentic.
4. Because it is a First, there is no piping. The piping on my City is not uniform throughout.

Overall I love the bag

Hi silvercris, I waited about 2 weeks. If you look at the shadow part of my photo, the colour is very close to the actual bag. I think it looks like this bag, but I don't know the name.

I am a little obsessed with getting a Givenchy Tinhan. I ordered one from J but he stopped making them (!) I went to the store to buy the authentic one and it got away right infront of my eyes !!!! (it was on sale). So please does anyone know where I can find one?? PM me then please.

Can anyone give advice to a complete LV newbie? I'm leaning towards buying a damier canvas neverfull, is Jacky's any good? It doesn't have to be perfect just passable. I've never bought anything LV before or taken much interest in it but I like this bag and the keychains he has.
