as I promised there are the photos of my galliera (1 year old). I used my phone camera (sorry).
Take a look and tell what do you think of.

hey bebe73...lovely bag, it looks so versatile and a great size too; the only thing that I can see from your pictures is that the paint on the trim looks a little too red....I have a few auth LV mono's and the trim doesn't look that red on any of them, much more subdued and less obvious....but at the same time, mine are not new at all....very well loved, but I don't remember ever seeing the paint on auth LV mono's so red, usually I always see this kind of bright paint trim on the replicas; I will say that I am in no way an LV expert, so anybody that is please chime in here.....when I say "anybody" I'm really calling out to LovedbyChanel, she seems to be the LV master around here ....

I'm impressed, bebe! It looks wonderful. I have no idea what the details of the Galliera are supposed to be but that one passes my test! Have you gotten any compliments on your bag from strangers?

Calling all CITY owners!! does the leather part of your strap measure 18"? i could have sworn it was supposed to be 24"... i would really appreciate any replies.

i'm pretty sure T&D sent me the wrong straps, but this is what they said:

Hi Vivian,
I have checked the straps on the City and the leather part is meant to be 18”.
If you include the hardware then it’s the correct length.

so either i'm wrong or they're trying to avoid sending me replacements...

hey vivian, I just measured my framboise city and the strap (leather part only) is exactly 19.5"....with the hardware from end to end it is exactly 24"; I then measured my sang city and the measurements are the same....hope that helps

Has anyone read about the fake balenciagas Koodos have been sending their customers? Apparently the bags (especially rh cities) are so good that the ladies at tpf have been fooled into authenticating them. The first giveaway was the paper tag that says the color (pomegranate, pebble, antracite, nero) instead of 'aigneu' or 'chevre'.

Fortunately the customers who read tpf managed to get their refunds, but think of the many others who dont. And some of these bags have been popping up on eBay, and some of the sellers dont even know that they are selling reps.

For more info you can read tpf 'Balenciaga on Koodos' thread under the Balenciaga Shopping subforum. These reps are even better than nbf's but shame on them for selling those bags are auth! Wonder where these bags are being produced..

I'm searching a good rep. seller and I have found the site luxurybagscn. The prices are very good though there's a minimum purchase price ($200). Is there anyone that bought something on this site?

I haven't bought anything from lxbgcn but one of the other girls did and she said she felt there customer service was very substandard; she ordered certain items, paid and then were told they were out of stock and they wouldn't refund her. Just a warning Oh and their Mulberry Alexa OS is the wrong size, it's too wide

Yikes, that's awful! I bought an NBF on eBay once, convinced it was authentic until it arrived (and again, I believe the seller had purchased it on eBay herself and had no idea it was fake) - it was a terrible feeling. I honestly wouldn't be bothered if T&D either didn't include a leather tag on the inside or if it didn't say Balenciaga.

With these latest price hikes, if I'm honest, I really don't want people to think I spent $2K on a handbag anyway... (And I did buy a lot of authentic Bal back in the day - when it was still outrageous, but nowhere near $2K outrageous.) But I do still love the style, leather, and colours of NBF bags and plan to keep buying them. B)

I purchased from them about two months ago and did a review, check back in the thread to the middle of May. I am happy with my purchases and would not hesitate to buy from them again. What selection!!!!!

shopaholic48, diormouse yeah i read the koodos thread on pf and was surprised!! wow! i mean i don't mind people buying fakes as long as they know it's fakes. but passing fakes as authentic is sick!
so the koodos' fakes are better than nbf u say?

today i hold my friend's nbf clutch ggh in black and wow, the leather is good!

if one or two more people could weigh in on the length of their City strap, i will have enough info to show T&D. i would really appreciate it

if you read the entire thread, it seems the first batch of RH bags sold in late may were authentic. the fakes are blatantly fake and nowhere NEAR the quality of t&d. the handles are completely off, the leather is horrendous and the font on leather tag inside is ridiculously wrong. it does not appear there were any superfakes coming from koodos, just real bals and then grotesque fakes. if you see some of the GH bags in the thread, it's clear you don't need a paper tag to tell you the bag is fake.

any PS1 experts want to tell me my best bet for a PS1 from jacky. i have tried to pick up on details, but frankly, these utilitarian-style bags (the PS1, alexa, etc.) all look the same to me. i am not stuck on a particular color, but more the style of the bag. i think the PS1 looks better half-empty than the alexa, so i'm leaning towards it since i don't always carry a ton (and if i do, i take a tote or a bal work for work purposes).

I wonder if the 1.25" makes much difference in the length of the strap overall anyway...IDK if I would be able to spot the length difference without putting two side by side? I also wonder if there could simply just be a 1" variance in the city straps (not auth....I mean from the boys )...did you say that this happened twice in a row though? I really think that it's awesome that we have this forum and each other....very cool indeed B) I'm interested to see somebody else's measurements too now, it would be great if somebody could chime in here

The GH bags turn out to be horrible fakes. But the RH cities they sold around June turns out to be fakes too, so good that they fooled some of the authenticators. And the ladies at the 'authenticate' thread were refusing to authenticate these rh cities until they know more about the bags.. The main differences were in the paper tag (color instead of leather type), and some very minor differences in the bale, etc.

Cant agree with you more! I bought what I thought was an authentic black ggh city before on e*ay and what i got was a HORRIBLE plastic fendi! It was by that scammer Brandy smth (cant remember her name, but there is a whole thread dedicated to her ) scammed me out of 1300usd.

And Balenciaga raised their priced to almost 2000USD is just so unreasonable, in my opinion. But then Chanel in Europe just raised their price by about 4-500Euros too!!
