regarding the T&D bales, i agree with babybluestar that we could always get the Day/Work/WE style instead.

anyway i just received Jacky's YSL roady hobo.. the black pebbly one. wow! i love it! the leather is great. compared to the pics from the other forum, it looked spot on. i guess he's using similar leather like the a. wang coco. will post pic later on

No, they didn't specified how she did it, but probably a pro heavy sandpaper?
BdR with GRH is dtf! I wish they can do it by the time that color arrives

i love this bag! post pics if you can. i have been going back and forth on it, but i'm getting a black lanvin and the black rocco with my next jacky order and obviously don't need three new black bags (or ANY new black bags for that matter). on jacky's site, this rep does look PERFECT.

can anyone suggest a good black or neutral tote? i do not want the chanel cerf or a birkin, as i would never spend what either costs on a bag. will t&d make black sunday totes again anytime soon (or have any leftover)? i want a tote so bad, but the lanvin one on jacky's site isn't structured enough and i may not always have it filled. that said, i want the tote to have a tote look without being full, like the cerf or birkin (difficult me, i know). anywho, if anyone can offer advice, i'd listen.

coco - i will email the boys about a bleu roi folk bag. PERFECT neutral for winter and the bag looks ridiculously functional.

You ladies are probably tired of hearing rants on bales but I just wanted to add my 2 cents:

chukotka: the dip is the one being pointed out with the arrows. actually it is minor, but bal afficionados said it is a dead giveaway.

Thanks for the comparison pics. I wasn't really sure what the flaw was until you posted pics. At first, I couldn't decipher was wrong but then I looked more closely on the auth and noticed that "dip." If it wasn't for your arrows pointing at the dips I probably wouldn't even notice at all. TBH I don't really think this minor flaw would be noticeable on the streets unless someone goes right up and observe your bales. But idk... I've never seen an auth balenciaga IRL besides pics online. On the bright side, at least T&D's bales aren't mediocre like other bal reps. If T&D gets those bales fixed great if not I could care less since I'm already satisfied with T&D's reps (perfect handles, nice leather, accurate sizing). What more could you ask for from a $200~ bal rep?

missaudrey: The measurements for the folk bag are 13" wide by 10" tall by 4" in depth. I presently have the strap at 34 1/2" long but it is adjustable to about 42" long. This bag can be worn cross body as well as on the shoulder as a shouler bag.

the siren: the folk bag is really functional.

Via Sarah: I think you will really like the folk bag style. It is a very classic and timeless style.

Kimkhuu I have a prada antik cervo from Catty and the leather is fantastic. Can't comment on J's since I've never bought one from him.

I would absolutely love a Bois de rose in RGGH but if not I'm definitely getting one in RH. I have been wanting a light color for ages and this is the perfect shade. I'm thinking a day or even an RH work would be perfect for me!

Madmurderermud- In my humble opinion that stitching flaw isn't enough of a flaw to be worthy of a credit or even a partial refund. Especially with Jacky who can be a little tempermental.

My advice is to send him the pic, and tell him that you are going take it to the cobbler, and then ask him to credit you the cost. He will then credit you then on your next order.
