piperbelle: Sorry about Galliera-gate! Paying extra for the express purpose of receiving a superior product and then getting something that's off is unacceptable! However, I don't understand why you couldn't just ship it back with insurance? What options did Catty have if you wouldn't return the bag? I always ship valuables with insurance and then you're covered if the parcel is lost/stolen/damaged.

Regarding the size, the PM is a big bag. I like big bags and got the PM because it's very roomy and the GM is MASSIVE!

Joy has good azur but OFTEN with LV, the bag you receive isn't the same as pictured so that's something to be wary of. Her shipping prices are much lower now so her prices are very reasonable...but I'd make sure you get pictures of the exact bag you'll receive before committing...

The azur Galliera is such a lovely bag. I do hope you end up with a good one!

I'm glad Jacky has corrected the leather on the Rocco because it is definitely supposed to be pebbled like the Coco!

I have such a simple solution for people who are tortured by the lack of dippage in NBF's bales..... Get the Day/Work/Weekender from T&D and buy authentic Citys/Twiggys/Firsts. There are many picky, detailed, KNOWLEDGEABLE members here who aren't bugged by the bales so I don't think T&D are going to lose sleep over the non-issue that is bales. I really think if it bothers you THAT much, you should just buy an authentic. I am super picky about details on LV so there are certain rep bags I don't buy... And I refuse to buy a rep Birkin because, with the exception of the 2K versions that people sell on ebay as authentic, I don't think any of them are good enough... I understand being bugged by a detail that's off. YOU know it's there and that's all that matters because it will bug you... So really, instead of worrying about it, just don't buy those styles! I think it ruins the joy of carrying a beautiful bag if you're just worrying about someone spotting it as fake.

Here is my current Jacky Mulberry Family. I am most likely rehoming a few bags as I will be getting a Neely soon when Jacky makes it in Steel.

On another note, I just received J's PS1 Khaki large and it's TOO big for me. I should have went with a medium in another color... But, a bit hesitant to re-sell her on ioffer. Has anyone had this same issue and try to sell a bag back on ioffer if so please PM me.

Its the perfect size - the caviar leather holds the structured shape so nice. I have Jacky's m/l black lambskin w/ SH - its a cute rep, but the flap is narrower than the bag -

From amethyst_sparkle's pics , I can see the quilting is PERFECT & the flap alligns magnificently ....


Received my Galet City RH on thursday. Its a beautiful bag, will upload pics real soon. The leather is a gorgeous warm gret, and puddles beautifully. It smells like fine Italian leather. The leather is supple, but a bit shiny.

Hello, I'm new here...I have been ordering from Catty for a few months and it seems her bags are going, well down. I purchased the LV Artsy GM from her and the ring broke the 2nd time I used it. I put it back together and it keeps breaking along with the other one. She shipped me ONE new ring with my last order and it is still not tight enough, so I cannot use the bag. Just a heads up to anyone who was thinking about this bag. I think I'm gonna have to try Jacky.

Chukotka: Jacky advised that he will make the steelNeely once it sells out in the bone color. Neely is a great bag. Jacky said he would not make Neely in red but I think he would make it if there was enough interest in the red Neely.

On a different note I don't think you will have any problem selling your large ps1 on ioffer. Many here sell their bags on ioffer.

babybluestar, I have had an item seized before it exits the country. I fear being blacklisted by customs, you know? That's why I'm uncomfortable shipping it back.

Catty did not accept the fact that the bag she sent me was very different from what was pictured - not worth $180! She was thinking **I** was the problem, not the bag. That is unacceptable customer service. After several catty (pun intended), antagonistic e-mails from her, I filed a dispute, and she gave a partial refund.

THANK YOU amethyst. I had to quote the entire thing because it was EXACTLY what I was thinking. Every time I've checked the thread this entire week it's been someone FREAKING. OUT about bales and all I can think is FFS.

I do agree, as someone mentioned, that T&D should amend their description that says 'all hardware exact to the originals' and I do find their evasiveness irritating at times, BUT! That photo that someone posted showing the GLARING DIFFERENCE between T&D bales & auth bales? JUST! FFS! I had to look extremely closely to see the difference even when they were both right there on my screen in front of me in close up - and you're trying to tell me a 'Bal expert' (who? where?!) will be able to tell at a glance that my bag is an NBF as I sashay past with said bag swinging in glorious motion at my side? Those of you who want to grab some pliers and put in that all-important dip, have at, and then can we possibly stop discussing this ad nauseam?

I am in love with GRH, I wish T&D do it soon, we should push them. Did anyone ear about a client of Auth Bal that she already bought 2 towns that month and after seeing a new Town GRH at the shop went home and sanded off the brass on one of her RH Town's? Is not similar really to GRH, but it seems that at natural it looked rosier.
I'll love to find out bagalicious system for bringing down GGH I may have to go back many pages and read them all.

Ditto to uiggu and amethyst_ sparkle. I don't think that the dip in the bales not being on T&D reps to be a big deal. I mean who looks at bags that closely. If you want you can get a set of pliers and put the dip in yourselves. As someone who owns authentics and reps, if this bothers you then you should just go and buy an authentic bag. All I am saying is that these are reps and no rep is 100% perfect. I love my T&D bags and honestly their leather is better than that on some of my Authentic Bal bags so I will continue to buy from them. Just my 2 cents.

T&D has a sample of rose gold hardware which I sent to them. They are trying to source the hardware and zippers. I am sure that they will let us know soon. I am looking forward to a Giant Day in Bois de rose with Rose gold hardware. This is the only combo I want so here is to hoping they source the hardware.
