Awesome.. boinquo I can't wait to see your damier NF MM from J when you get it, that one's next up on my wishlist! I tried on the PM size and it's sooooooo freaking small, I'm 5'4" I can't imagine anyone else wearing this bag, it's unbelievably tiny, I felt like I was carrying a tiny speedy 25 on my shoulder haha. I'm just like you with LV, I used to hate hate it especially monogram but I do like damier and I admire monogram on others.

bisoubis: I love the PS1 but it is kind of small. It is great for the movies or dinner. I love my Plum Alexa and the color is so saturated. It is a cross between purple/pink in my opinion.

I am sorry I cannot add photos. When I hit manage attachments button it says that there is an error on the page. I have been trying for two hours to add photos to no avail. I don't understand why I have this problem as I have premier account which I pay for. I have tried using Mozilla as a browser and even changing the version of the page with the button on the lower lefthand side.

Also, I'm assuming that several posters on this thread have combined orders with other members to save on shipping! How does this process work? Does Person A order and make a lump some payment and then the others just e-mail money transfer their cash to the one buyer? Do y'all just trust that you'll get your bags after you send your money? Or alternatively, does Person A ever get stuck with a big bill and bags they don't want if someone changes their mind?

I'm not trying to sound suspicious/distrustful or rude, just curious?

I'm so glad we're having this neverfull conversation! I had a Damier NF GM from Catty, and it was great, spot on colorwise. Maybe it was the sheer size of it, but the canvas felt thin and awkward. Pics of the MM make the canvas look so much stiffer. I prefer more stucture. I also have Catty's trevi PM, and again, spot on color. This canvas feels much stiffer, but it's probably that the bag is small. J's MM looks great in his pics, so I'm going to buy that now. It's just a great bag. I've seen the mono around and I love it but it's just too much mono for me. (I also used to be "that girl" that hated LV, so I'm not quite ready for mono, but I love damier now, haha!). Damier was what changed my mind about LV.

If anyone has questions about j's vachetta, I have his pochette accessories and it's starting to patina after a few wears . the canvas is just as thick an correctly pebbled as my auth speedy.

MissLondon: It's seriously, an old-fashioned puzzle on repchat and you have to find the clues. Puzzles are difficult but it was cute that people took the time to put his info out there like that. It took me a few hours to find all the clues, and about a half hour to figure it out. Navigating to the url was so rewarding, LOL. Maybe it would be easier to just contribute to the thread a bit more for you.

Boinquo, if that is the case it might have been better to pm the admin/s of repchat to let them know that this is possible rather than mention what you just said on this open board. We all know that there are lurkers and any of them could simply read what you've just said and then go and figure it out for themselves and who knows if they could be one of those trying to shut Jacky down?

At the end of the day, we all want to keep our trusted sellers protected by not posting their sites "out there" whatever forum is whether repchat/tfs etc.

Anyway, the admin of repchat now knows about this issue and the mods are working to rectify it.

100mph: Great question. I am not sure how it works, but I would like to offer my suggestion. Get the money first! I purchased a bag for a 'friend' before with the promise when I received it she would pay me. Never happened...ended up having to sell it myself at a pretty significant loss. Never again.

madbalgal I'm so sorry about your experience. I tried iOffer once a few years back and the item that came was totally different from described and the images listed. I put up a Paypal dispute which is useless as they only cover eBay items. I can't remember whether I disputed the amount with my bank but in the end, I sent the bag back to the seller and got some of my money back. That was the last time I get anything on iOffer and last time I use Paypal. Now, I only trust reviews and comments here if I want to get anything from iOffer. The way banks handle fraud/ dispute cases are quite different from the Americans and Europe. I find it very hard to get my money back and most of the time, have to pay up the balance even if it's a laspe in the bank's security.

100mph, I've organized joint orders among TFS members a few times. Usually, I'll take partial payment before I pay Jacky via WU. If a bag costs US$100, this works out to be about S$140 (in Singapore dollars as I'm from Singapore). The member has to pay me S$100 first. After I've made the WU payment, the exact remaining amount due to me will be calculated. The member can choose to pay me before I meet her to pass her the bag, or when we meet. I always meet the other TFS members to pass them their items.

I've also once paid the entire amount for the bags in advance, then collect payment when I passed the members their bags. But this was a special concession because I've met these 2 members face to face before and we trust one another.

It all boils down to trust. I provide all my contact details to members who partake in the joint order so they can contact me anytime. I also scan in the WU receipt and email it across to all participants so everything's transparent.

this is how I do group order:
members will pay me the amount that their items cost, in FULL. WU fee will be slitted as heads count. for example. 5 people total in the group, 14/5 = 2.8 each, add that to their order's total. normally i ask them to pay me via paypal gift or pay me as regular paypal and add in the fee. once i receive their stuffs, i will ship out and invoice them the shipping cost.
it works ALL THE TIME!
it doesnt have to be me receiving the package. anyone in the order that order the most will receive the package to save them shipping fee.

ANYone can join the group order. even oversea or wants it ship to them, because we can slit the WU fee and just ask jacky to send their items to their address.

regarding issue, everyone must understand that JACKY is the one who messup ur order, not the group organizer. if there is any issue, I will email jacky first and give him ur info so YOU can deal with him directly. or i dont mind dealing, there were time the other organizer helped me deal with him too. but no aggressive feeling over the organizer. if jacky fail to resolve it, that's jacky's problem.
