I have the LV keepall from catty and love it, all my friends think its real and they have real LV's, not the keepall though. Its held up over a year so far for me.

What is the issue with jackies chanel jumbo maxi bags, is there still something off about the c's and is lambskin better than the caviar? TIA

The tan quilt is sooo: ! I will ask him about it too. a friend I work with is interested as well.

looking at his tan rocco and seeing how it looks kind of has me worried about how a quilted version would turn out.. maybe we shouldn't ask.

what size do you have? I agree with another user that if I were to get one I'd probably wouldn't go too large in size.

First, before the pics. I am a newbie to Bals, the leather, texture, shiny or not, etc., etc. Without comparing it to the original, I see no problem. They are perfect. They are yummy. I am in awe of them!

I do however, want them to pass muster to the real world, other than my little utopia inside my house.

1. Do they need Leather Revive? I am thinking so, and I have no problem whatsoever putting it on these babies if this is what the experts think
would make them look their Sunday best.

2. The Noix and the Anthra are all pretty even in texture and distressing. *** The Black seems more smooth in the center vs. the more distressed outer front area. *** This area is also less shiny than the rest. Is this OK? Am I being silly? This actually may just be how the black leather turned out, as the bottom panel is also smooth... (I am pretty sure that Leather Revive will even out the glazing, i'm not worried about that so much, just the distressing uniformity)

ETA: Now that I look at the pics...I am thinking that the smooth vs. distressed factor on the black may just be because the black, being
jet black after all, doesn't show the veining (??) that the two 'colors' do. Whatcha think?

HandbagDiva omgosh those bags look soooooo yummy!!!! they look a little shiny, but I'm guessing its reflection from the light? I'm soo glad I got the anthra this time around.

I shall be posting comparision to the last run of anthra as that is my fav leather from T&D so far.

I think your bags can pass as auth without any treatment and they don't *need* it. However, the way bags look after Leather Revive is out of this world! It takes away shine and seems to smoosh the bags up a bit. It's totally a personal choice though and I always recommend doing a test area first because even Apple Care can slighty change the look of a bag's color or veining and you want to make sure you'll like the outcome.

Thanks for your fantastic pics! Your bags are lovely and so are your photography skills!

ETA: I wouldn't worry about the variation in texture of the leather. It's an animal hide and they're not always even. I do think conditioning it could make it less noticeable though.

Hey girls ,

I got my first Bal today from NBF.... I'm kinda of excited because I wasn't a big Balenciaga fan and I really love the bag

However , I need your advise. From what I read in the thread , I think that the shiniest of the bag is not suppose to be ... right ?

I got the Velo Anthracite and I do find it very shinny and kind of thin....is it normal ?
Maybe someone with the latest Anthracite batch can help me....

Is it worth it to post the pictures since a lot of other member did it already ??

^always worth to see the exact "problem" to get better advice
all bals have shine, auth or NBF. depends on personal reference, you may want to condition it to remove the shine if u dont like shiny leather.
as i've seen handbagdiva's trio (beautiful) i can conclude that the leather is exactly as my 2 sorbet, which i hardly conditioned (compare to my other bags -oh dont ask me how many times to condition them, lol). the shine will go away very fast and this type of leather will break in within couple days.

I ordered the Sorbet and Anthra cities (at different times) and the boys told me that the Anthra had gone out already but they had no tracking number. I'm not sure if the Sorbet left yet.
