I'm sorry, am I the only one who doesn't think $40 is unreasonable for international express shipping?? It's $43 to ship internationally here in the US..and I personally don't have a problem paying $40 to have my items shipped insured with a tracking number knowing they will arive to me in five days.
Seriously. Considering how low Jacky's prices are compared to any other seller on iOffer (even Catty), $10 more to ship is not going to break anyone's bank.

No!! I'm guessing those who find it outrageous probably haven't shipped internationally like we have...? It's VERY costly to ship overseas. Even if you ship without a box, without tracking or ins, the slowest way, it'd be around $30. We were all lucky before that he charged so little. It's also a testament to just how incredibly well priced T&D's bags are since shipping is included!!

I'm so happy everyone loves their black RH City!! I'm still positively giddy about mine. It has broken in faster and better than any of my other bags. I admit I've ignored just about every other bag I have for that one. It goes with anything and everything and I feel chic carrying it regardless of what I have on. kelsbags: I'm glad you could save some $$$ and get an NBF and it's even better than your auth? I love stories like that.

I'm going to post more pics of my sahara RH City soon. I drenched the thing in LR and it is GORGEOUS. No more shine, insanely soft and puddly leather. Love love love. Here is a pic of Kim K and her sahara City (pic from lovebbags.com). Mine is basically identical to this color.

Hi everyone. I just got my so-called BDR GSH First, and I am absolutely furious. Just to let everyone know to stay away from this design (although I checked back in this thread, and ame_sparkle's GSH First looks lovely ;_; ).

I'm waiting for T&D's response after sending me this piece of trash:

1. The shoulder strap isn't attached on one side, a stud holding the leather tab is missing, and the leather tab is unattached from the bag.
2. One of the top handles isn't attached on one side and the stud is missing.
3. THE LEATHER IS LILAC. Not BDR. LILAC. I'm probably most angry about this, given that I MADE SURE to ask if the leather was a true nude pink as in their photos.

I'm sick of this. No more reps for a while, and certainly no more T&D, unless they redeem themselves with an exchange for a perfect BDR GSH First (my HG) - unlikely, as I'm pretty sure they sold out almost immediately. FFS.

I'm also extremely concerned about the RH BDR City they have yet to send me.

uiggu - that first looks horrific. I can't imagine the boys would pack and ship a bag that looks like that, but it doesn't seem like damage likely to have happened during shipping either. Please keep us updated on their response.

I agree with you the leather looks extremely off as well. It should be a pinkish grey/dusty pink, but either way much lighter and less saturated. Could you take a closer picture of the leather outside?

with.the.band: No way did this damage occur during shipping - one of the studs is actually missing, for starters. The colour of the leather is completely off: it's a pinky lilac, nothing like the real BDR or even their own ioffer photos. I don't have a camera charged right now, so I can't take close-ups, but here's an iphone pic.

I can't tell you how disappointed I am, given that BDR was an HG colour for me. I was desperate to have something in it, which is why I ordered two bags: the GSH First and the RH City. I also bought a GSH bracelet from them, which, by the way, is the same lilac colour, but which I overlooked at the time, assuming that the bags would be all right.

I've been emailing them back and forth for the past hour about this (an extremely frustrating experience, as you can possibly imagine given their usual communication skills, or lack thereof).

Oh my God, let me go and stab myself in the eye rather than deal with these idiots any further. I don't know what to do. All the Cities I've seen have been perfect - do I just risk it and get them to send it to me (if they actually WILL send it now) or just forget the whole thing? If it was any other colour I'd just be getting a refund, but I love(d) BDR so much that I can't let it go so easily.

Im waiting on a bdr first from another member ♥ and from the photos of her bag it seemed a super light icy pink. (Though i wouldnt mind it a little darker truthfully). Definitly let us know how this resolves!!

Also. Has anyone tried Jacky recently and know if the shipping is back to normal? Im trying to get my sister a os alexa in oak.
Have the oak alexa leather been good asof late? I recall some girls not really pleased with the leather on their alexas in oak.

uiggu - your first is BDR, not lilac. They don't have lilac leather to begin with, and they certainly wouldn't make lilac gsh firsts when they've never been made before. That would be a franken bag. To be honest, my BDR first arrived similarly. But it was really simple to fix. It's just a matter of re-screwing in the studs. bam. fixed. I was out the door in 10 mins.
also, what T&D are trying to do is save you from being disappointed a second time around. If you think your first is lilac, you're going to think the city is too. Trust me, I have four different BDR pieces, with a fifth sitting at the post office until monday morning. They're all from the same batch of leather. BDR is just like every other color-- it appears differently in different lighting. Indoors, mine look very dark pink and lilac-y. Outdoors during the day, they look white. And at night, they look pink-white. The pictures you took look identical to mine.
So if you absolutely 100% do not like the color out in broad daylight or indoors, you won't like the city.

babybluestar: Yes, I came over from the...I'll never carry a rep EVER to OMG, I love every rep I've received!!!! LOL! I'm picky with my reps as most of us are, so I really research and compare. I've owned several black authentic Balenciaga's....always buying and selling forever trying to find a true black out there. I've had the awful green tone blacks that are infamous with Balenciaga, grey tone ones....could never get a true, jet black as the leather on those were not to my liking. I will say with 100% confidence that my B bags from T & D have just as good if not better leather than the authentic. Mine are all from this latest batch of black though because I'm only a black bag loving gal! The hardware coloring might be a tad off, but I can pull it off. To me, it's worth saving the cash on!!!! Hope this helps anyone who has wondered how T & D stack up to the real deal!

I'm so sorry about your bag--that is quite a disappointment.

I got a RH BDR Work, and it's hard to capture the color of the leather--it is pink with a slight lilac/grey cast indoors, and a lot lighter outside. It does look like the iPhone pic you posted. I've seen authentic BDR in one department store, and other than (in this one case) being very distressed, the color is very close/spot-on to T&D (I don't have perfect Pantone-recall for color, but I remember the authentic being pinker than I had expected, with quite a lilac/grey undertone which surprised me, having seen many photos online).

I hope T&D offer you a solution that's satisfying! It's no fun getting something different than what you expected after spending $$$$.

anyway, about bdr, i saw auth bdr IRL, and it does have that strong lilac-ey tone that you describe. There was a tpf-er who compares both (auth) colors bdr and lilac, and take side by side comparison pictures (photobucket album here and here).

i haven't got the chance to compare my bdr sunday side by side with an auth though

Hi ladies! I haven't been on in awhile and it saddens me to hear of all the poor news with T&D. Fortunately I haven't had any mishaps with them and the two bags I have received from them were very good (despite the very shiny/wrinkled leather on the black city I received 2-3 batches prior to this batch of black).

Anyway, I haven't had a hankering for anything else T&D is offering at the moment but like I said awhile back, I was debating on a Black RGGH Town by Fangfang or B&S. I have found a new seller however, and attached a photo of their Black RGGH Town - to me, it looks better than Fang's and B&S's. I will be ordering it - it is cheaper, as well! (Also lambskin.) This seller has come pretty well recommended, so I'll report back when I receive it!

uiggu - sorry to hear about how your bag was received - i would not expect the handle to be disconnected nor the strap not connected (and certainly not at the same time) - i hope they resolve this for you faster than you can say 'BdR'. and while all leathers may be different and there is a lilac undertone on auth, when comparing to the link lovelovemode provided to auth (thanks!) - well, to my eyes the leather finish looks very smooth on most of T&D's BdR I have seen so far and without the lovely distressing. I will hold out on BR until i can see the leather.
Cherish - that town is cute, congrats! it looks like B&S one too, or at least from the same factory i've been scoping - prolly the same seller
