uiggu - your first is BDR, not lilac. They don't have lilac leather to begin with, and they certainly wouldn't make lilac gsh firsts when they've never been made before. That would be a franken bag. To be honest, my BDR first arrived similarly. But it was really simple to fix. It's just a matter of re-screwing in the studs. bam. fixed. I was out the door in 10 mins.
also, what T&D are trying to do is save you from being disappointed a second time around. If you think your first is lilac, you're going to think the city is too. Trust me, I have four different BDR pieces, with a fifth sitting at the post office until monday morning. They're all from the same batch of leather. BDR is just like every other color-- it appears differently in different lighting. Indoors, mine look very dark pink and lilac-y. Outdoors during the day, they look white. And at night, they look pink-white. The pictures you took look identical to mine.
So if you absolutely 100% do not like the color out in broad daylight or indoors, you won't like the city.
Hi girls,
T&D asked me to tell you the black GRGH work bags are ready and will leave tomorrow. They say they look fabulous! I will ask for a pic.
very hard to impossible.they dont have a town to copy, plus, it was hard for them to get the regular size RGGH. the town requires smaller RGGHuiggu, I feel for you girl!
On another note, anyone knows if T&D will make the town style with rose gold hardware?

^ glad u like it
anyone know a trick to make a non patina vachetta to change color? i have this beautiful LV, with perfect details but the da!n leather just wont patina. i tried washing it, put tons of baby oil but did not change a bit
im thinking toward tanning lotion now, lol :)
im pretty sure rep bags that use real cowhide can patina with baby oil, as dark as you want yes, it might not be the same shade of tan as the real one but definitely more than "darker a little". and as i said, i tried washing it and nothing observed in, so it must be NOT real cowhide. what i meant to ask was if anyone know what else work for this type of "non cowhide" to make it change color permanent. i love my bag but i cant stand the pale colorBecause some of replica LV used treated cowhide leather. For test your bag to see if it is treated or untreated leather, just drop a tiny water to see if it leave any water mark, if it is not, then it is treated leather. So baby oil only can darker a little, it will not get honey patina like authentic. I had owned replica LV before, that is the reason I decided no more replica LV for me.
I'm so excited about RGGH you can't understand!!! I saw a comment about Ardoise (2011 colour) with RGGH and I saw one on purseforum.. damnnnn its sexy!
My RGGH City just arrived at Australian customs so I hope I get it by Friday! I'll take pics so you guys can weigh in on how close NBF came to the real thing.
I just received my Sahara CP today and its more of a milky watered down caramel than the sandy beige I expected! Not in a bad way though! I still think a Sahara bag would be way too high maintenance for me, but still very gorgeous. Also got a Sang and Turquoise CP. I posted a little earlier about problems with this order but I'm still happy about what it ended up being. Turquoise leather feels amazing btw. My fav NBF leather from their recent batches so far is still Moutarde though - silky soft, extremely thin, very matte, moderate distressing, and flops down like its already worn in
