babybluestar - Thanks for all the good vibes - they must have worked, because my bag seems to be OK. It isn't completely dry yet, but it has returned to it's normal colour and there is no trace of the dreaded stain - hurrah! Crisis averted!

227: 12 1/2"w x 7 1/2"h x 3 3/4"d
228: 13 3/4"w x 8 1/4"h x 4 3/4"d

Was it a damier or monogram? How was the feeling of the canvas? I'm trying to find one that doesn't have such tough canvas.. I bought one locally thru CL and it felt like hard plastic. Also I notice the handle size and shape can tend to look too long on some.

I'm hoping to find one that really looks liek the real deal and I would think/hope that since the speedy is so iconic and simple that one of our great manufacturers will get it spot on!

Side note: Anyone buy a Stephen sprouse roses item and have it really glow? Been toying with the idea of getting the speedy roses 30 to fulfill my need for a speedy AND beautiful roses! I saw a girl recently with an auth and even in the daylight it looked like it glowed in the dark!

• Stella McCartney black Falabella (is the leather good?)
• Hermes Black Lindy Clemence Leather(no longer on website, hopefully he still has 1 left!?)

Can any of you who ever got one of these bags or can anyone tell me by looking at the pics if the bags are OK?

And does his hardware have a tendency to chip off or rust?
