In an earlier thread I believe it was mentioned that the handle on Catty's Artsy was too wide. The trim on her Damier NF's is a touch too dark and I am not convinced that the trim around the top edge of the bag is indeed leather. That said, after looking at more than a few pictures of the same bag from different sellers, this seems to be the norm. I spent quite a bit of time (just a bit OCD LOL) researching the Artsy GM. I have personally owned 3 and none of them had the handle perfected.

If you have ever considered a Palermo GM, I can attest that Catty's is stellar. As far as I can tell it is 99% spot on. I was so pleased that I asked her what other LV bags did she had from the same factory (thinking that I had hit the jackpot!! ) but she replied that only her Tivoli and Palermo came from that particular factory.

From what information I have gleaned from months of research of a zillion sellers inventory, not all their bags, even in the same brand category, will always come from the same factory.

Best bet is, if possible, get actual pics of the bag that they are going to send out. They may require that payment is made prior to sending the photo's because how it has been explained to me that the factory charges them for this service. If a seller uses a drop shipping direct from their supplier, they may never see the bags that are being sent to the customer.

Kinda makes things difficult for us!

I asked her to send me additional pics which she did, but after looking at Fangs pics Catty's doesn't seem that great anymore. Fang is just a little out of my price range and Catty's shipping is super cheap.

Catty also has this Prada Leopard print bag on her home page. It's just a canvas bag but i'm totally obsessing over the leopard print.

thanks for all the great information! it's unfortunate to know that you can't bet on two bags being the same. we really are spoiled by nbf. but--sellers can step it up too. i ordered a few things from fang, and after ordering from the main three sellers, im excited.

Has anyone had any luck getting epi leather items from our sellers?

jacky used to have amazing epi, but i don't think he does it anymore. he has the new (well, not so new now) patent leather epi in a MM alma (i THINK it's the MM size, not 100% though). i think i've owned three epi pieces from jacky over the years and all were impeccable. my mother still uses one that we bought at least every weekend.

can anyone comment on LV makeup bags from jacky? plzzz? wondering if i should try my luck again or just wait for NBF coin purses. for these, do we know exactly what colors they're doing? xmas is just around the corner, i thought they would have bleu roi ready to go already. i guess it's just going to be BdR, moutarade and sahara for the holidays?

i have seen both auth praline and sahara irl, but not together/side-by-side. i would sale praline is more of a cool tone while sahara has more warmth, making it a golden color versus an ecru/ivory with the slightest tinge of warmth/yellowness to it. side-by-side i know sahara would look far more warm beige...praline is more along the lines of naturel.

personally, i like sahara more.

I see they have a Moutarde Twiggy up - but from searching on TPF I see only Maxi Twiggies, not the regular sized ones. Does anyone know if the regular Twiggy exists in 2010 Moutarde? I'm looking but I can't seem to find one.

Hey girls - T&D have emailed me bunches of photos to upload to you guys, but I've been a little preoccupied as my mother was in the hospital and I was busy with that.

I'll go back a few pages and make sure all that was sent to me was showed to everyone!!

They did mention the Sahara to me, and also said the leather is very soft and "buttery".

I really don't mean to be a pain, but I have more questions about packages getting stuck in HK customs. My Jacky order was shipped out on 11/13, and the status still shows that it was "accepted". Has anyone else gone through something similar and can they offer any advice? Jacky will not resend the items.

thank you. i think i will try it and still get a NBF coin purse as a back-up.

boin - does it say it was accepted at HK customs and that's all? sometimes the tracking sites aren't updated and an item just appears. i have had this happen countless times. it's also the holidays so shipping gets very backed-up and thus slow. to wait for three weeks for a package from outside of your country is not uncommon this time of year.

if it doesn't arrive, all that will happen is jacky will refund half of your money. in the many years of posting at this thread, i do not remember that ever happening though. usually it will say an item was seized. maybe someone else will weigh in who has actually gone through this with jacky. best of luck!

Luckily it does not say it was seized. It says: Your item was accepted in HONG KONG on November 13, 2010 at 1:56 pm. No further information is available for this item.
