Anyone ever dyed their balenciagas?

I'm thinking of dying one of my anthracite bags to black bc I can't stand the weird blue/green undertones anymore. I've been reading threads on TPF and a lot of ppl seem to have pretty good results.

Any input would be appreciated

I successfully dyed a turquoise work to black. Three coats of fiebings black #18, letting dry 1 day in between each coat, then a single coat of this black spanish dye...can't remember the name...if you search in thread 7 I think, you'll see my pics.

It was FUN and the end result was terrific.

The latest issue of Lucky Magazine has a big article on dying clothes and leather. Apparently there are leather dyes out there that can even take a dark color to a really light color--news to me. The dye is really cheap ($2), and successful. Of course, being a Bal owner, you probably don't want to go all crazy and dye it a color that never existed

Let me know if you don't have access to that magazine--I can see if I can scan it sometime this week.

Does anyone here have a Tods Bauletto D bag or a YSL easy bag? If so, who did you buy from and what's the quality like?

Is anyone interested in getting one of these? If so email J as at the moment he's saying no - but he also said no to a remake of the nightingale until I got a few more girls behind me to email him too.

I love both of the bags, especially the tods, are they're big and IMO timeless.

Could anyone tell me how long T&D usually take before they ship out an order?
I payed for my Black City on friday, and they confirmed it right after, but I still haven't gotten a tracking no. or any word on if it has been shipped or not. Is this normal?

This is very, very normal for T&D. Don't worry, just email them and ask them for the tracking number. They are good at responding

I'm about to place an order with J (mainly Lv's) And was hoping for some feedback on his canvas (monogram,azur) I'm wondering if its that soft coated canvas that I've felt on alot of the newer pieces I've felt at the shops, or is it that "obvious made in china hard plastic" feeling??

Sorry to be so blunt, but if you click on any of the seven ioffer threads, chances are you'll land on a page full of posts raving about Jacky's LV, with tons of pics attached. The sheer amount of Jacky LV in the "Pictures Only" thread should be more than enough to convince any potential buyer. I don't think any of us would buy from Jacky, let alone recommend him, if his LV's were "obvious made in china hard plastic".

I did look through earlier forums and I am a repeat buyer of his too (Although I bought a few vernis items which one looked great, and the others not so great) and I read earlier that some girls found some of J's canvas to be stiff on his neverfull. Since I had some discrepancy in quality for vernis, I was merely trying to get a response from some others who have bought azur or mono items to see if it was an issue specifically to his neverfulls or what since my potential order with him would be mainly azur items.

Freefallin- I have azur items from Jacky as well as mono and his canvas is not stiff at all- he has some great LV!

my Turq RH City arrived this morning via DHL and OMG she is so freakin stunning!! same leather as the BDR/Moutarde batch; unbelievably delicate and soft, silky and puddly straight out of the envelope-- no conditioning necessary! as you can see, the color is the same as the last batch of Turq (comparison pics with Twiggy). T&D have reeeeeally topped themselves with this run. I look forward to receiving my Turq First once they're ready. MAN I can't stop petting the leather the color is so shocking and vibrant, I can't wait to take it on vacay!
