I was a little shocked when we went into the LV boutique and how close the mahina looked that I got from catty. I held the auth and some of the other bags.

Also, what really suprised me was on some of the bags I held, I swear if I didn't just walk into LV I would thought I was holding a fake

It amazes me the ridiculous price increases LV does all the time and the quality of the product is not better to justify (imo) the increase.

Don't get me wrong I alot of the LV items, I have not been in the LV
boutique in quit a while, so I just wanted to see some again irl.

I do have some auth LV and other brands, so I never got obsessed with all the details. Now I don't want it to like like a rep.

Ilvbags: I ended deciding to go elsewhere to get my Vernis so I haven't ordered from EHbest. I may still b/c they have a clutch I'm lusting after and if/when I do I'll let you know how it goes!

ok 1 one more cust. Has anyone bought just 1 bag from Jacky. Because i got an email from him saying that I had to purchase 5 items. But it says if less than 5 there is a $30 fee.

That's standard for all the replica sellers -- shipping is about $30 but with a minimum order, they amortize shipping over the cost of the bags.

Some suppliers quote FOB prices and then total the shipping based on weight of the actual parcel but Jacky's prices have the weight factored into the price.

The Balenciaga first I got from Catty is already falling apart, or maybe it's just me.

But is the half moon leather piece with two studs in front of the bag supposed to be stitched onto the bag, or is held only by studs and glue?

Help, I am so clueless!

the little front patch? it's supposed to be held on by the studs. you should be able to stick your finger in between the patch and the bag. does this make any sense LOL?

Could one of you please tell me if the XL is too heavy? Im thinking about order the Mahina Metalic XL from Catty cause I do need a big and useful bag while Im traveling..But I remember somebody saying something about being super heavy.TIA

ok, tried to upload pics of my new marigold nbf first, and it wouldn't let me. check out my avatar to catch a glimpse. it is silky soft, and a great vibrant color. got it from a fellow bagswapper i am in love! the pic shows it full, but it is so floppy and soft. YUM!!

it's HEAVY. I'm 5'2 small framed and my bf had to carry it today cuz i put in a small bottle of water (as well as my small wallet, 3 lip glosses, chapstick, ipod -shuffle- u get the idea.. small stuff, and still heavy) Still, a killer bag to carry around. I absolutely love my mahina, and want to get it in black too. Please let me know how ur silver turns out to be.

Okay... Re: NBF/T&D's Nightingale. I finally got to see it on friday... It's REALLY NICE!... The ostrich shin skin handles are kinda weird and creep me out, but I think i prefer the ostrich handles to the regular handles with the emboss. Makes it more of an ambiguous bag... at least to me.
