I never mentioned it being an obligation. I simply felt certain tones were not needed towards anyone entering this thread unaware and hopeful. Perhaps a suggestion in changing the rules at the first page to make things clearer for anyone that doesn't enter in what's deemed inappropriate. That way there's no need for the snapping.

so the nbf defects, i would assume this means the placement of the pocket/handles, bales, etc. are all correct and it's just the height issue? if so i might go for a saddle or black.

yeah, from what i gathered, its just the 1" height difference. the saddle always did it for me.

I asked for info too.
I was able through research on TFS and other means to find a few of the sellers I was looking for. I don't think its appropriate to imply that newbies are lazy or stupid. If you want to encourage introductions and interaction perhaps it would be possible to create an environment condusive to that if without the tone.

Also it might help to just add a "don't ask ,don't tell" policy to the rules on page 1 to save yourself the trouble of having to type out a response to the newbies...

these bags are the oldies back when they first released the sapphire,truffle...and even the "non-defected" bags have problems with the pocket, handles,bales(as they just fix the bales recently with the ruby batch)- so i will not assume those are correct.JMO

I actually contacted them about one of the bags and they told me that the clips were correct.
