what the hell is going on w/this thread?? Ppl can't even express their own personal shopping experience anymore? Or share their opinion on the quality of the bags they get?? I thought this was THEE place to do just that-- so that both "rep veterans" (made up word ) and newbies could learn about who to go to for which bags, who may be having QC issues, and who to stay away from. I haven't been posting that long here but I remember this thread being a place baglovers could respectfully exchange info on rep sellers. What happened to that???

It's bad enough we have to combat the Psycho Forum stalkers but now we have rep-lovers here coming down on other rep-lovers???? WTH? Wow...

Anyway, Ambreit: I, for one, appreciate your commentary since I know you're a longtime NBF consumer and appreciate reading your opinion-- and the same goes for anyone who contributes to this thread in a way that we all can learn from.

Getting back on topic: I have a question:

Can someone tell me what the difference is btwn the leather NBF used in the past, vs. the leather they're using now? Is the only difference goatskin/lambskin? I'd love to get some constructive feedback. Thanks!

^^ I completely agree Minivixen, and Ambreit has not only been a long time buyer of NBF but also knows Bbags inside out, and i appreciate buyers' opinion who have been buying NBF bags for years, not those who just get hyper excited and are buying T&D's only from a few months' ago because they've decided it's the latest craze

we're buying a product, regardless of it being an auth or not it doesnt' matter. No one is asking for service with a smile but if you're forking over a couple of hundred dollars or more in a transaction then a polite email here and there and an update on something that you were promised is NOT asking for world of customer service. God knows that you hardly ever get service with a smile at NM or Bal.
Getting defective bags is annoying.. a lot of us have been burned with that issue and it's OK to share them because that's what this thread is for.

Coming down on people who complain about tracking, quality or whatever the hell they want to complain about is just wrong. If it bothers you this much then dont' come to the thread where we are actually discussing the sellers/quality of this product.

definitely eeb! ita. we all know this thread is "watched" or whatever but it has been since the beginning. somehow it was still able to be a wealth of information, maybe because there was more of a cohesive attitude here?

to me this thread has been a really good source of information, I still tend to browse through it if I'm looking for something before asking questions

a lot of members have been so friendly and helpfull to me, which I really appreciate and therefore I've also posted pictures and reviewed the items I've ordered, if I were to order something I would also appreciate comments from a member who actually has the bag IRL

now, has anyone ordered shoes and/or jewelry from catty before? there are some things she has I like but I would be more assured to try it if I knew it was going to be good, not that I can throw it away after carrying it a couple of times

I was thinking of maybe purchasing a balenciage bag (from TNBF, though after reading posts on quality bit scared) because of the lovely pictures you all posted (color still not sure, sahara, violet or so) but I don't know which version is best suited for me? what is the general agreement on the bags, which version can you use best for what? I know the work is really big so I would dismiss that, more a medium kind of girl. With or without gold hardware? Dillemma so I need tips!

Valkyrie- I have a Brief, Day and multiple cities. I dislike my brief bcs the opening is too narrow and the bag is too deep. Day is too deep as well but looks good on. The most user friendly of my bags are my cities which i use non stop. I am getting a Work in Turquiose which i am anxious to carry.

i'm glad this thread has gotten back on the right course. this is one of my favorite places to "relax" since i have a rather stressful career. this thread is an excellent resource for a variety of reasons, including, perhaps most importantly, collecting seller feedback...however, i hope it includes the right to share positive experiences without being made to feel like you're an outsider or being dishonest because you've been lucky enough not to have a bad run-in yet. just my two cents since it hurt to go from being excited to feeling like i did something wrong. i know that wasn't the intention, but...

that said, does anyone know of any sellers who have H Constance Bags, 23 cm? i know J has 18 cm but those are too small. also, any opinions on his Chanel Jumbo - Lambskin v. Caviar? i know i want one or the other, just not sure which one with the holiday coming up i'm getting anxious about perhaps placing an order. if his aren't the best, do you have any other suggestions? i'd really like a jumbo, gold hardware!

regarding catty's louboutins - i own a few auth pairs, can anyone make comparisons? i'd appreciate it very much

minxvixen and nicky...that is what this thread is for, but more recently, it has become the T&D thread and if you've read through the thread, members seem to already know that they are the place to do for bbags...
not for other bags and sellers, yes, you should absolutely post thoughts and opinions on quality, customer service, etc....the only thing we ask is that you not post the seller's website or anything that is linked to an outside site...
as i've said, it doesn't matter how much you're paying for a bag, good service is good service...
if you received something that's defective, or a seller didn't answer your questions, or wasn't good at responding to you, we should all hear about it...
and we shouldn't be made to feel bad for stating our opinion...

i will say this, and please do not jump on me for saying so...
we did have a period where there was a huge influx of new members, and there were some who only wanted contact/websites for sellers and never posted any opinions, etc. on bags...
i do understand why it would make some of us leary, but this is a fact...

Kimair, Is he reliable? In the sense that what he has on site is what you will get. I purchased a muse two from a seller on ioffer. The bag looked great on his site but i ended up receiving a really bad replica. Ummmm, Ive asked several people here and no one wants to tell me which is understandable but can I pleaseeeee have his URL??

People have different expectations when it comes to shopping and customer service, quality, price, etc. I think, however, when it comes to product expectations, we should generally be able to "agree to disagree" while being honest, polite and respectful. I personally can appreciate both sides of the discussion and, from them, have learned what I can expect when I make purchases from various sellers.
