I have the small size from LuxuryDesigner, and its dimensions were about an inch smaller than the actual. DesignerMarque's small classique seem to be the exact same dimension as the original.

I would not say that the inch difference really matters in terms of how much more you can fit if it were not an inch off. However, the "medium" size ones that are being sold seem to be waaaay off from the actual dimensions of the city classique.

If you are looking for something to fit school notebooks/papers in, the "large" (which is really the closest to the actual city classique) should be suitable. I personally prefer the classique moto style over the city lariat; and I purchased the 15x5x10 size from DesignerMarque for school.

I shall post pictures of them once they arrive!
Assuming it takes 3 days for delivery, it should be here Wednesday..hopefully

beware. just bought a red moto from DM and one of the rivets on the bag FELL OFF.

what size moto did you get?
I just ordered a city classique moto from him, also in red. Do you think it is a problem with the overall quality?
Has anyone else experienced defects from DesignerMarque's bags?

i got the city classique size. I have another black moto from him which is in perfectly good condition (except the metal plate inside the bag with the logo fell off). My red bag is fine, i just superglued the rivet back on.

what shipping service does Designermarque use, and where does he ship from?
He mentioned a few carriers that he uses, but I figured that was dependent on the destination since he also ships to other countries.

Am I safe to assume that mine will be delivered by USPS since I am in New York..?

EMS from China. I bought from him twice and I receive my bag in 3 days both times. I live in New Jersey.

i dont even know why they call it grey, at first i thought it was taupe cuz they looked so similar..

i got my small grey from Luxurydesigner, but I just recently placed an order for two City Classiques from DesignerMarque after all the good stuff I've heard about his bags...B)


If you are after a small size, I would recommend getting it from DesignerMarque though. The one I got from LuxuryDesigner did not match up as well as the ones DesignerMarque sells.
In particular: the small I have is smaller in dimension, the inside zipper is black (not silvery), the backing of the studs are not smooth-flat(they have an indention), and the exterior bottom of the bag lacks a line of stitching down the center.

However, DesignerMarque's prices are significantly much higher than LuxuryDesigner. I got a small for 110 from LD, I hear DM charges 140(?)

thanks sourkiwiz....i was just wondering what the grey would look like, as in all the pics i have seen it looks shiny and just grey. however i then saw a close up of the zip on a grey and it looked taupe. i am happy that it looks taupe

after seeing the pic of the balenciaga thread of nicky hilton and her seafoam twiggy i am lusting after a twiggy. has any1 bought a twiggy from luzurydesigner or dm?? how do they hang/carry in comparison with the real 1's?? i'd be worried that they may be more stiff and wouldn't look as good, cos i love the way the twiggy kinda slouches

I would stay away from fakes of the seafoam color...the leather is just not the right shade, and the cloth on the zippers do not match well....they look like crap.

In post #236, page 12 of this thread, there are comparison pics of someone's real twegy next to one from designermarque, I think. It's not in seafoam, but the bags match up pretty well. Good luck, I'm now thinking of that bag, too, instead of the le dix. I emailed DM, and he got back to me right away.
