It was one of my fav collections so i would have hoped there would be some colour, i'd say it's definitely better than her Balmain campaign, for sure.

excess of retouching imo. i always have the impression that they overdo it in her ads more than in her eds, and this added to the fact that she hasn't been very creative with her expressions... in the end all her spontaneity is only seen in her candids.

the main problem, for me, is the whole emmanuelle alt aesthetic though. how both isabel marant and balmain are taking too similar directions - rock 'n' roll, same models, same photographers. it's like they're losing their identities to the stylist's.
