Lanvin Menswear S/S 2010 : Inez van Lamsweerde & Vinoodh Matadin

i don't like it, it's just rehash of their previous works, fantastic man mag and kissing self portrait. they are running out of ideas.

The kiss one is pretty...distracting but that first b&w photo is gorgeous. Can't wait to see more, and HQs!!

i don't like it at all:yuk:
and don't see how it fits in with Lanvin. the 2009 campaigns connected really well with the aesthetic, i can't say that for this one. bring back the models too please:judge:

I've never liked I&V's kissing photos. Inez always looks like a succubus devouring Vinoodh face first.

Add in some demonic Pucci-esque body paint and it just enhances the effect. :ninja:

Lanvin has been using different photographers for the last few seasons, and all the ads have been quite good imo, in this particular one I was underwhelmed when I heard that they were going for photographers instead of models but it turned out fantastic.

I love the first b&w image so much because it's so charming, he looks so serene and confident, and knowing nothing about him besides photography I think this outfit it so perfect for him, he pulls it off so effortless...Genius styling

The color photo distracts me too much from the clothes, she's overpowering him on purpose but I would have liked to see the same passion in the kiss from both of them.

cannot wait for the other images...usually 4 or 6.

i actually dont like the fact that each ad campaign seems so completely random. i mean each season should look different but should still convey a certain brand image and i feel that is lacking for lanvin menswear.

the ads themselves are not bad however the lack of consistency, imo, take away from the clothes.. there is no "lanvin man."

i don't get it
why are they redoing their famous kiss photo? and why exactly is she in body paint???
it seems so uninspired

Wooww - I saw the first one with its almost sinister edge (like, the original The Ring) and the second one is even better! Love this weird edge to the photos, now dying to see more.

these ads are striking but have nothing to do with cloth....
anyway, it seems that fashion ads are no long have much to do with cloth now

the first shot is brilliant but where were they when i wanted their editorials to look like this? saving it for the campaign i dont want to look like it? and i find it pretty pathetic that they actually did selfportraits. i know theyve done them before but its not funny as when terry richardson does it, it annoys me. especially since there is absolutely no focus on clothes that i loved.

so i dont know. not sure if this MEEEH is better than last seasons YAAAWN.

I actually love it and I don't usually care for I&V,let alone them in the picture.

I'm in love with the first shot  Vindooh
The second one, it's just too odd for my taste...and it lacks brand image, this is so not Lanvin.

I love this current shot! It's simple, yet has that bit of humor. I love the minor detail of the L trinket.
