Very beautiful, finally a brand that stays true to itself. Was it innovative? No. Was it spectacular? No. But it worked, and worked well. And Emmanuelle Alt made it even more glamorous and desirable, with a slightly retro patina.

I think the casting and the energy saved a rather lackluster collection…
With Balmain going back to speaking that language, this really looks like the diffusion line.

The irony was that Balmain’s casting was slightly less glamorous.

i am happy to have stayed in my bed instead of going to the show. IM or Bash I don’t see much difference anymore and she is not pushing her own language.

Olivier had some mistakes but, overall, he was far more convincing to me.

I wish he had this casting though!

I also was thinking this looks like a Balmain´s diffusion line for next season (which is ironic, considering this is the "original" brand to push this boring never-ending boho crap).

The sweatpants are almost insulting.

The only thing these looks are missing is Marc Jacobs' The Tote Bag. That's how bad they are. I can't think of any current 'cool' girl wearing anything like this..

That is one of her best tools actually...for she needs to hit the refresh buttons...we know for the summer is the dessert or hippy...and for fall will be the biker 80's or disco....everything is so predictable...she needs to find its cool again...
