So for the May issue, Jalouse will be celebrating their 10th birthday as well as its 100th issue (along with the 60th birthday of the Cannes film festival).



The film has been directed by Matthew Frost , it's a parody of the quotidian life of a fashion magazine editorial team (the making-off of the film is featured inside the magazine and the cast on the cover).


Content:

A questionnaire answered by Amira Casar, Karl Lagerfeld, John Galliano, Vivienne Westwood, and other artists, musicians, fashion designers.

Retrospective : The favourite Jalouse 'trangressions' of the past ten years (I don't know what they mean by that)

An article about Jalouse's most important covers.

Fashion : An editorial featruing the actors of the Jalouse film : Marisa Berenson,Nora Zehetner,Virgile BRAMLY, Léa SEYDOUX, Caroline DE MAIGRET, Aléxia LANDEAUX.

Beauty: The comments of some hairdressers, make up designers about the evolution of beauty during the past ten years.

I might add that officially it isn't really their tenth birthday ( the first Jalouse issue was released in June or July if I remember well.I actually have this issue)

i've seen but didn't buy it yet... and look at it quickly
it's as big as a normal issue... there's a dvd on sale for 10€, too. this idea of the dvd is really pretentious... naker told about a dvd of the making of Jalouse and I thought the concept will be a day in the redaction of the magazine... but NO! they did it as a movie (with Marissa Berenson and other actors) really really pretentious...
there's pages about their covers etc. a man editorial, and the same old same stylism...
actually this issue seems as boring as their recent issues...
