James Franco

Haha! Adore Dior, you just wanna be a Franco, don't you?

Why is James doing all these little comedy bits by the way? Is there any specific reason, or is it just for fun? Seems kinda weird to me!

I watched the video and although it's funny I gotta say I don't love it. His bro is mega cute in it though, but it just seems so random!

he does it just for fun, i guess in his spare time. judd apatow was the producer of the bit. on the F&G commentary judd and seth did talk about how funny james was in real life and were suprised he didn't do more comidic roles.

i read somewhere that tom does artwork for one of his mothers' children books and james and davy do the audio for the book on tape

Yeah, Daisy explained that for me on the other page. Other than TFS I'm really not much of a techi so I didn't know anything about Judd doing video's for that website or anything. It's very cool though.

Yeah, Judd also talks about how funny James apparently is in a kinda recent Pineapple Express interview.
I think James just wanted to be taken very seriously for awhile but maybe now, for whatever reason, he's not quite so bothered.
I'm sure MILK will get him all the " serious" recognition he deserves anyway, so he can be as much of a goofball as he wants right now! :p

Oooh, that's so cute about the children's book thing! I was actually totally tempted to go and Amazon the audio thing for a second there... but that would actually be totally weird!
I'm not gonna be that girl! Lol!

Do you think something can be both scary and cool at the same time? I think so.

His art is very unusual though. He really seems to have interesting ideas.

When is James holding his next art show? I love James' art too.

^ Yeah, Ive seen them before.
A lot of people don't seem to get James' art but I really love it. I think there are still so many people who are still maybe a bit dense when it comes to art forms though. They have what they decide is " good" and then they don't budge. It's kinda ashame.
Still, I like it!

I remember reading a few years ago about a girl who was friends with someone who knew James and was really into Basquiat.
Apparently the friend mentioned this to James and he then sent the girl a painting of his, since he's so inspired by Basquiat himself! :woot:
She had a picture of the piece posted online but I never saved it! Damn damn damn!
I so wish I had now, but nevermind. It was much more typically Basquiat than his work is now I think.
He seems to really be developing his art form though... which is amazing when you consider he's balancing it with an English degree and an acting career! Lol!
My art totally went out the window as soon as I started my Eng degree! I'm obviously just not as self-disciplined as James!
But, anyway, it's nice when you find a young actor who has hobbies that go beyond, " eeeh... going to Bungalow 8!"

^ Does there actually need to be anything else?? :innocent: :p
But if you want something else... eer, he's apparently very nice!
I've never met him ( as I always point out) but my friends have and say he's very timid and lovely!
Although I wonder if he's still as shy as he once was. He seems to have come out of his shell a bit more recently. Anyone else agree??

Actor James Franco can add Student to his impressive resume. Sporting an oversized back pack, headphones and a mustache, the Spiderman star easily blended in with his fellow students as he made his way between film and English classes at the University Of California, Los Angeles. The star stopped in a student cafe to eat his packed lunch and study up on an English literature book

It would be so awesome to be in one of his classes! Exchange numbers for homework, etc. :brows:

^ Haha! I know! Although I think I would def be intimidated by the tash!
Can't wait until that thing goes.
God, paparazzi photos!!??? Waaaah! So weird!!!

29? he looks so much younger than that!!!
aww his b-day is coming soon

I think turning 30 ( Again, in ten days! Woo!) is gonna do his career a lot of favors. It'll take him outta the arena of the good-looking hollywood twenty-something guys, which there are so many of, and people will probably start looking at his work rather than his face...

I mean, we'll always be looking at his face, but you know what I mean! Lol!
