I should really be posting this in the whitening/pale skin thread but anyhow..

Dior did this with their diorsnow product since they were having a lot of problems exporting under the health and safety laws as it contains some harsh chemicals. They wanted to launch it earlier but these administrative issues got in the way..

My mother is in the beauty industry so its not a big load of bs for any skeptics out there

i'm mean it's the pigment of the skin, right? without it we are exposed to the sunlight in dangerous ways. we could get cancer. i think that's harmful.
i know that the japanese like going to extremes, and that might be just their lifestyle, but is it a healthy society right now? i've seen the news and it's all about economy, suicide,consumerism and promiscuity.

Thanks for your concern, but don't worry, it's not what you think! The "chemicals" in question are just vitamin C to even out your complexion especially after sun-exposure and scarring and overproduction of melanin, not to bleach your skin. PS Don't take what you hear in the news at face value...it's really not that bad! It's still one of the safest, happiest and most peaceful places to live.

hmm...how about we stop going around calling people "midgets". I don't know about where you're from, but over here it's pretty offensive to use that term. Anyway, I'm sorry. What I should have asked was, "are you from some part of the earth where the word "midget" is not offensive, or are you just too insensitive to bother to learn what the implications of the word are? or are you just stupid?"

Japanese style is totally eccentric and different, that's what I love about it....It's crazy and it's cool. Each person there that walks by has something completely unique from the next person.
