i think their style is either a hit or miss. but personally, i think only the japanese can pull it off, if we were to dress like that we'll probably look ridiculous. ;p that said, i do like many of the clothes worn in those pictures, especially the stockings, blazers, scarves etc. but living in singapore where its summer everyday of the year, its not really practical to be wearing so many layers. sigh

not ridiculous ive been looking at the pics in the NY thread and the european thread, and a lot of the "flea-market" people i saw and thought "a japanese girl would wear that in a second!" .

its just that when we see people of our own race/that were used to, and then look at the japanese who are more exotic, it plays on our perception and looks "cooler".

i occasionally dress "japanese street style" and it looks just the same as any other person on the street here.

....although i stay away from potato-sack tops gotta give my figure a little credit!

i know what you mean...the thing is that a lot of japanese girls have boyish figures...so they don't seem to mind the boxy look...and can often pull it off better because of a narrow frame...lucky them...or not...depending on your preference...

me too , but she says that because paypal doesn't support in her country so she can't accept this but maybe next time she will try to use Paypal . When i chatted with her . She said that she will ask her friend for helping in open Paypal account . I usually use WU for paying . It took me a little time to go to WU agent .
