Trust me, the Japanese boys try very very hard. :p

The are sooooo vain! They stand in front of the mirror for hours. Sometimes there is a line to use the mirror in the stores because the boys spend so long looking.

Japanese girls are less vain, or at least they don't show it.
 
omg i think that first outfit in post#1973 is sooo adorable! i love the fact that japanese street style comes off very fearless and bold.
 
Everyone looks so comfy yet still so stylish. They also all seem to have perfect bods, I think that helps too!
 
Generally, I'm not a big fan of Japanese street fashion. It's a bit too over-the-top for my tastes, but some of the girls can pull it oof and look eclectic, not crazy. Here are a few looks I love. I'm sorry if they're reposts! :blush:

^it's neat when they dress like that
but sometimes i can only wonder if they are going someplace special
or if they are in costume (as part of the theatre)
like you always find these ones in anime/manga conventions.
