I think we will have to see more:-) Those 3 were indeed "scaringly" not Jil.

And where is the light?

looks more like EXPRESS to me.... very plaaaain... I know Jil Sander is always very minimalistic, but this is just boring me. I usually like what is sold better than what comes down the runway, though, so we'll see..

That's kind of true now that you mention it.. it does look more like express... hmmm.. :(

farewell

i agree with everyone that this resembles a fall prada/miu miu collection...i think it's fortunate since those were two very strong collections from prada and miu miu.B)

if you can't beat your owners, just re-release their stuff.

I like the use of the dove grey color for Fall....
The grey overcoat at the top is quite nice, but there's no Jil Sander twist to it....seems more like something from Helmut Lang.

The beige trench coat is especially nice, I like how the collar is structured and stands on its own, so that if its buttoned, you can still see the shirt underneath without looking too sloppy....the flap pockets are also nice...and have a Sander twist (with that sloping 45 degree angle) It looks like this same coat comes in black and then a grey tattersall pattern...which looks quite rich...I'd take that coat in a second!!! :flower:

Not a fan of the seperates though...especially the sweaters :(

I hope hoping Jil would go out with a bang but I will reserve my judgement after I see the whole collection

i just adore that tie and shirt
