i don't think they had this up at the time. i was wondering why i hadn't been seeing much rocha the elder presence.

it's definitely a lovely one. textures and volumes beautiful as they ever are.

^ it was on vogue.co.uk I think, just not in stylebistro quality.. and also John Rocha's work has fallen under the radar here in the past seasons (we're also missing a thread on his S/S 12 collection, I believe). It's pretty sad. I'm not a fan of his work but I love seeing what he does (does that make any sense?!) and I think people like him should always receive exposure, there's so much integrity and sequence in his work, and attention to detail.. which is actually one of the things that usually work against my taste as it tends to fall into 'frilly' territory for me.

I have to say this is quite gorgeous , probably my favorite John Rocha collection in years (or ever ).. it's slightly Marras-y, non?. There are less ruffles and more volume, which I love.. and the way he combined the materials give such elegant textures. The styling + hair + makeup are also in perfect tune with the collection.

The workmanship on this collection is incredible. I love the womenswear much more than the menswear though. Impressive collection
