Juicy Couture

the other day i was in calypso. a mother and her daughter came in. i think they were of russian origin but with a slight british accent. the girl was amazed. she had to have everyhting that was by juicy. and teh mother encouraged her by emphasizing to the SA that her daughter is crazy about JUICY.and i was in shock. she didnt even care what the item looked like. then in the middle of her shopping marathon she kept on calling her sis to ask her if she wanted the item that didnt fit her... just so she could buy it!!!

it was soooooo funny. ... there def is a JUICY craze

the SA was so happy to get rid of that stuff. she told me afterwards :innocent:

A girl wore pink juicy velour pants with Ugg boots to my school the other day...

juicy mini skirts with ugg boots, provided whoever's wearing it has nice, lean legs, can look really cute.

well i liek adidas retro track suits to, juicy's are a little bit more streamlien and body counsious than sporty track suits.

yes, i agree with miu. juicy has turned tracksuits into something extremely body conscious. it's flattering to most women. (there are women with gross bodies--no exaggerration here--whom i've seen wearing juicy and they end up looking cute) i think that's the general appeal and selling point...and their juicy colors of course

honestly though i prefer Juicy's otehr clothes to the track suits.

They have fabulous mini skirts, wity shirts and even some very deconstructed pieces like doubel layerd shirts with raw edges and puffy sleeves Ts with outverted seems.

yes im a little juicy osbesed, like all the deisgners I like

I thought Juicy was suppose to be ironic — calling velour track suits "couture" and the founders always dressing in identical outfits, calling themselves the "Juicys" or something of the sort. I figured the ironic twist was the reason behind its popularity. Then, after seeing so many college-aged girls in pink velour track suits and Coach monogram handbags at the airport, I realized that it wasn't really the sense of humor behind it, but rather that it was just that — a popular trend. Or maybe that's the irony behind it (?).

I'm most familiar with their track suits. While I won't knock the brand (in fact, I own a white hooded zippy that I wear around the house), I wouldn't go as far as to call it "fashionable." When my husband wears his Adidas track pants I think it's cute, but I don't think it's one of his most fashionable outfits.

its is supos to be ironic , btu I think msot peopel are to stupid to relise that
