Juicy Couture

Nah... I think Juicy shows a lack of style rather than it's presence. When I look at the girls who wear it... well, i dont' wanna wear it...
It's definitely overpriced, and stupid. What about shirts that say "Dump him"... What? Why? Cause Juicy said so? STUPID!

hmm, im not at all a fan of juicy ...on the contrary ...but this example of the tee shirt i can name you hundreds of other labels that make them... too..

i just think when something becomes "the TREND" (and i specify the "trend") and NOT trendy, you will always get teens, girls who will rebel against it...kind of boycotting that label.

my theory is: wear what you like no matter where it comes from.
im sure that if those juicy tracksuits would have come from someone like YSL or LANVIN it would have been considered more 'chic' and more 'exclusive'..
so i dont think its the design that bothers people but more the PHENOMENON...
PHENOMENONs are also part of the fashion world.. whether they are good or bad  unfortunately

speaking for myself, if a designer brand made velour sweats, i still wouldn't wear it. that's like saying i'll wear galliano for dior just because it's christian dior. anyway, i don't like velour or the other juicy clothing and accessories.

i think many people are sincere saying that they don't like juicy not because it got so popular but because the designs are just  :innocent:

yea, i like it too, its just i'm not as obsessed w/ it as some girls in my school, i have to admit that i just got a zip-up hoodie, and i used my own money which is super hard for me cuz i'm a huge penny pincher , and i really regret buying stuff bcuz it was like 4 weeks of babysitting for me, but its cute to wear with jeans, i just dont like it when girls have the complete set of the zip up and pants, although i do have a set :innocent: but we're not allowed to wear pants that say juciy on the *** to school bcuz it's "provcative" so i made my own little line of sewatishirts that said "save couture" and they were really popular and thats when i finally decided that i really wanted to be a fashion designer  such a touching momnet

I only own one piece of Juicy.. and it' sjust the black smocked tubedress thing... Great for summer and the beaches.

Everything else of Juicy I pretty much hate.

I love it when I'm walking down 27th street behind a girl with a really schlumpy *** (wearing her Juicy sweats) and her one cheek goes up, and I read JOO and the other cheek goes up.. and I read SEE

So as she walks say in my head JOO... SEEE... JOOOOOO.... SEEEEEE!

Now if only her *** had something more intellectual for me to read.
I hate Juicy as well, however your post made me laugh so hard.

The same exact thing happened to me once when I was at the mall. I saw a woman just like that and I thought it was hilarious. She was toting a Gucci bag and had those same pants on and was strutting around like she owned the place. It was a hilarious sight. ...and I had my camera handy ;D

LOL Brian.. I'm surprised she didn't turn around and whop you with her gucci.

Good times good times.

Ha! Ha! If you look carefully at the picture, the word "Juicy" is actually a little droopy to the left! That's a hilarious shot Brian!

Yesterday I saw i pic of Cindy Crawford's baby with a juicy t-shirt  , the baby is 3 years old?????

Juicy is all about status now-it is nothing about fashion or style, and if you go to Selfridges in London most girls wearing Juicy think they're something special, like you said Brian. It's like saying "hey, look at me, I can afford to spend ridiculous amounts of money on a simple hoodie". It's so wrong-it just proves money cannot buy class.

I bought a a cute Juicy tee that looks like the Jack Daniels label, but it's Juicy. Whiskey & Juicy, two of my favorite things! I got it at the resale shop that I work at. A boutique sold it w/tags on still. It was $20!!

I wouldnt buy Juicy...maybe im the only one that doesnt look their hooded tops and pants

this is terrible, i have never seen such a disguisting thing before...
And its $275.00 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

I forget what magazine it was in but there was a poll for what boys dont like about girls and nearly all of the boys interviewed said they did not like girls in juicy style clothing.

i personally could care less. i dont shop in stores where its sold, but ive been in stores where its sold, places like aritzia where they are so over priced on generic clothing its unbelievable. juicy and von dutch are the same in my eyes. i dont get it.

i dont own any thing of either.

I want to love the ShowStudio patterns, but I can't get the Galliano printed, I already have a top a lot like the Yamamoto, and I can't figure out how to put the McQueen together. I suck.

i'm in the middle of making the galliano jacket.
the pattern is so confusing.

Just another tracksuit. Actually i own a lot of tracksuits - Nike. Adidas, Lonsdale so to me juicy hoodies & pants are just something else to wear when I'm bumming.

A nice change from the suits & heels I have to wear everyday to work.

Like Juicy but can't afford it? Don't find the piece you want in the colors you like?

Simplicitiy design #5008 looks to be the solution. If I wanted one of those strapless tube dresses, I would probably go this route. This set reminds me of Juicy, too.

Other than this rather blatant knockoff design, Simplicity's got some hella cute stuff this year. I'm off to spend part of my latest commission on some new patterns and fabric. I just saw these DIY Juicy looks and felt the need to share.
