Juicy Couture

it ain't that bad, but it doesn't really deserve all that hype either.

Some of their stuff is pretty comfortable, but honestly I think don't it's worth its price.
Just stay away from anything that has "Juicy" emblazoned across it.

I say just wear your stuff at home, to the grocery store, for your workouts...

Exactly. I have a couple black (no childish writing or anything tacky) Juicy sweat suits and they're perfect for lazy days, weekend trips to get coffee, casual dinner with the family, etc.

I love the basic drawstring velour pants. Thats it... nothing else.
I have 4 pairs of those...
black, sage green, dusty lavender, cranberry

Yea They Are Pretty Cool.. I Have Had Like 2. Grey And Brown.. Still Have The Brown B)

I just have pink and green basic sweatpants and a brown velour hoody. I only use them as loungewear. When I get home from anywhere I put comfy clothes on straight away so I get a lot of use out of them

Is juicy still "in"?

I think so- a lot of the clothing from their actual clothing lines is quite cute.
As long as you don't wear a matching hoodie & pants you are fine- wear one piece at a time casually. (and as previously mentioned stay away from those JUICY on the butt pants!:(blink:

I agree^^^
I would never pay retail!

I found a cool Juicy t shirt the other day with a man holding a gun.. the t shirt is black.. faded.. with holes.. and the icon is dark grey.. the whole t looks old and ragged.. its awesome. like $25.00 @ Century 21.. Thats the only way i pay for Juicy! LOL

Barneys has tons of Juicy on sale for men. I tried on the velour jacket.. didnt look that nice on me.. i think im a little too fat for it (ive accepted my size LOL!)

ha im reading this while i sit in my juicy sweats. as much as i'd love to trash talk how overrated they are; my sweatpants & jackets (as long as not worn together) have been a comfort staple in my wardrobe for a while now.

Hey now, Im wearing my cashmere Juicy trackpants...God, I even went out in public in them today!!

oh my lord...
all the closet juicy freaks ....
it's like a coming out party......

The only Juicy item I have is the Beverly suede wedges in black. I paid way too much for them imo, but I love them & get tons of compliments on 'em. Other than that I've never really seen much else that I would buy.

Okay, I'll admit that I have had my juicy obsessed moments. A couple of years ago I literally wore it head to toe from clothing to jewelry to bags to socks. One day when I was in NM an SA mentioned that I must be juicy obsessed. That is when I realized that I was overdoing it. Since then I still wear juicy but I scale it down a lot instead of wearing so much at once.

What is the appeal you ask? I can tell you that I'm no teenybopper. I'm a 30 yo stay at home mom. The first time I tried on a tracksuit I was in love because of the fit. I'm somewhat curvy but for some reason their tracksuits are very flattering. The biggest difference between juicy tracksuits and other brands is that the cut is more form fitted instead of so shapeless. Anyway, I'm not ashamed to say that I love them because they are comfortable and as a mom I can't exactly dress up in couture every day, you know?

As for prices, they have gone up in the past few years and I'm not necessarily willing to pay $100 and up for a hoodie, even juicy. I usually buy mine from ebay or on clearance. Oh, and I love, love the tube dresses...even if they are so two years ago. Again, the comfort thing...plus you gotta love any item of clothing that hides your midsection.
