Juno Temple

She has a great sense of adventure with clothing. Like how she paired those boots with the look above. Also, I love red hair, but haven't yet decided what I prefer on her.

Given that our issue is all about celebrating and reinventing the ‘babe’ in popular culture, it’s not surprise that we’ve gone for a left-field stunner for our cover girl. Juno Temple isn’t your average screen siren. Instead, the English beauty specialises in brave, bold roles: from the deceitful Lola in Antonement to the naive Dottie in Killer Joe, who’s deflowered by Matthew McConaughey’s psycho killer.

Photographed by Michael Hauptman, Temple wears Dolce & Gabbana. The new issue hits stands on Thursday 7 February – stay tuned this week for exclusive pictures from our shoot.

This year, Temple’s appearing in no less than seven films, including the eagerly-anticipated Lovelace with Amanda Seyfried and Magic Magic with Michael Cera – and don’t forget the not-so-small matter of her BAFTA nom for Rising Star (voting closes on the 8th).

“The ****ing joy of great acting is that you forget who you’re watching and just become engrossed in the character,” she tells us. “I hope that happens with me, sometimes.” Somehow, we don’t think that’s going to be a problem.

I really don't like the red hair on her, which is surprisingly since I almost always love redheads!

I would prefer if the dress was solid black and white, instead of those odd neutral panels in there. Her hair and makeup have never looked better.

So glad she won.
Don't really care for the dress but love her hair and makeup!

I agree with the hair. Finally, it looks right. It usually looks like it has been flattened by an iron. And honestly, I was rooting for all of the four ladies nominated (haven't seen Life of Pi), so I'm happy.
